With Friends Like These, Who Needs Enemies? *UPDATES*

Day 1,746, 06:46 Published in USA USA by Israel Stevens

My Fellow Americans,

I know that you were probably expecting a campaign article, but I have chosen to take a moment and instead comment on what the President of Greece has done.
If you are unaware, please take a moment and read this article.
*Edit* The Greek article has been removed.
*Edit #2* I have acquired a screenshot of the original article, it can be viewed right here.

The long and short of it, is that the President of Greece, has published screen shots, from the United States’ Private Congress forums.
The Greek President is upset over the fact that Greece is listed on the Vote No section of the MPP list. It is completely reasonable for a longtime ally to be upset over that.

Is it really any wonder why?

There are supposedly American Senators who are taking screen shots of Private Congress, and sharing them with Foreign Presidents. This is unacceptable behavior for any US Senator, but the President of Greece should not only know better, but should have the respect, and diplomatic integrity to at least speak privately with the Administration before going straight to the media.

If Greece were truly a friend of the United States, they would have engaged in diplomacy, before taking their grievances public. It is highly unfortunate that a supposedly friendly nation would do this.

So I’ll ask again... Is it really any wonder why Greece is on the No List?
-Get American citizenship to help with communes.
-Get enough Greeks into USA to get a Congressman elected.
-Immediately have that Congressman start passing Private information back to the Greek Government.

Folks, that’s called a PTO.

If Greece is going to PTO the United States, then I see no reason why they should not remain on that list.

Friendship is earned, not given.

*Edit* This isn't a reflection on all Greeks in America. There are plenty of Greeks that are not PTOs. However, when you choose to get into American Politics, but you still serve the Greek Government? That's not acceptable.
