Will the ADF sponser our troops with beer?

Recently we decided to pay a visit to the troops in Otago, and thought we'd have a beer with them while we were there.

With Australia Day coming up this week, we thought the Diggers deserved a nice cold one for their efforts in New Zealand.

Some speculation has been raised in regards to why the ADF isn't supplying our troops beer at no expense to the troops themselves. When asked for a comment, the ADF Marshal, Malgoo simply replied, "DEATH FOR ALL!" We here at Beer Drinker Monthly say, "BEER FOR ALL!"

All the troops in that picture are drinking VB. I'm not sure I want to serve in a force that serves VB.

The ADF budget makes up 70% of eAustralia's monthly spending. Surely, given the piles of cash we spend on our troops, we could supply them with a beer better than the cheap rubbish that is XXXX or VB? I propose that daily supplies now include a six pack of Coopers Clear!
