Why you should vote TUP on the 25th of January

the views expressed in this article are my own, and not those of the TUP

I joined the TUP around two weeks ago, and I want to tell you why I support them, and why I will be supporting their candidates around the country.

The TUP isn't a new party, but it has new ideas. It was founded long ago, but it is widely acknowledged by many, including party founder Final Destiny, as having undergone a revolution of policy and ideology that makes it almost unrecognisable from the party of yesteryear.

The TUP today is exciting, vibrant and intelligent. The TUP forums are incredibly active, with hundreds of posts each week. Policy is one of the main areas of discussion, with a constant process of proposal, criticism and debate creating proposals which can be taken forward with confidence and strength.

I know that the PCP and UKRP have made an outstanding contribution to the eUK in the past, and I considered them both before joining TUP. Their contributions however are mostly from the same experienced players, who time and again win elections and take up the reigns. Dish's House of Lords idea finally opened up the House of Commons to new players- and what was the result? A House of Commons with a 31% TUP presence. This is no accident:

The TUP (and MDU) have been making massive gains because as a political party we care for new players. Because we are smaller and have a less illustrious history, we rely on our politics and good character not our name to win votes. If you are a new player, please consider voting for and joining the TUP- but most importantly, consider getting involved and putting forward your ideas for how to make the eUK a better place.

Our candidates on the 25th January represent a mixture of experienced and new players. For many, this is their first chance at congress, and they come with new ideas and a new perspective. If you want to contact your local TUP candidate, but aren't sure who they are, PM me and I'll forward their in-game name to you.

What the TUP stands for: It is often said that because the TUP aren't economically either communist or libertarian they have no economic policy. This is completely untrue. From what I understand, the TUP have amongst their ranks budding economists of great character. However, much like real life economists the TUP believe that there are different solutions for different problems. Sometimes state intervention is positive, and sometimes it has a detrimental effect. What this effectively means is that you can trust your local TUP congressman not to be bound up by ideology and dogma, but to listen to their constituents (you!) and vote based on what is best in that situation.

The Unity Party is on the rise. It is the party of the people- not just the left wingers and right wingers out there but all of the eUK.

Remember - a vote for the Unity Party is a vote for freedom, for fun and for equal rights for every citizen of the United Kingdom.
