Why we love eRepublik
Daniel Hawkins
I haven't written an article in awhile, and just wanted to get this out.

For me, I love eRepublik because of one thing: it's simplicity. I love the fact how you can go in for two seconds, understand the game on your first day, and take a minute to play and keep growing into something larger. However, if you want, you can go more into depth. You can become a congressman, run for president, join national forums, and become involved in the community. You get to choose your destiny, what you want to do, even if it's two clicks a day, and not fall behind an inch.
With the new economics and military modules, it feels as if they're taking something away. eRep's simplicity. It's forcing you to become involved in the community, forces you to spend more time on eRep, and takes away the fact you can come in, click twice a day, and not lose a beat. I fear it's going to scare away the new citizens, with it's complexity, and new players would be like "too hard, next game?" Not only that, it's not like anybody's complaining about the simplicity. The eRep team is forcing it upon us when most of us are content with the current module and wouldn't want to swtich to a whole new game.
It feels like going from two clicks a day to at least a half hour per day to add on to a busy schedule. It's like spending more time than you have to do.
Well, that's what I think. Let me know in the comments - what do YOU think?

They want our money mainly imo but as an active player I'd like to see more depth but I know two-clickers won't like it
But the thing is, you CAN go in depth. Get involved and I could spend hours a day on this game. But now their FORCING you to go in depth.
I agree with you and I was also thinking this new module would probably ruin the game for most of the people playing it but sometimes change is good sometimes it is bad, who knows what will happen?
they have a game filled with bugs that everyone hates.
and there making a new set of everything for the game?
i love how people hate change. i personally welcome it. this game is still is developing. you don't like it then don't grow with it.
We do not know what 2-clickers think. We don't even know if they only click twice or do more [like reading newspapers]. Maybe they get more involved now and do not stop early because they have actually something to do now.
vote..
I love to play this great game..
Although there are many bug happen nowadays.
No matter of simple the interface, the fact is there will still be plenty of newbies/noobs unable to understand this game.
The new module is still going to have the option of a few clicks. Not two, but it won't take half an hour either. The concept is that the more you put into the game, the more advantages you'll have over everyone else. Not much is changing in that aspect. It's true the admins want your money, this game is their job, they want to get paid. It's a business, they want money to make their business flourish. Are you mad at your local gas station because they want you to pay for your gas?
I'm grateful that it's possible to play this game without having to pay any money, they didn't have to do that. I don't agree with you on this one DH, I like the simplicity of eRep, but I'm excited as hell for the new modules. It will make the game more strategic and I love that.
