Besides eTurkey, I think that the other countries have no benefit for the eUK. I think that we choose to ally the former powers, even tho that doesn't help us in any way right now, when we're kind of stable.
Why?
ePoland was one of the eWorld's powers, now it struggling to keep their actual regions.
eSpain is the same as Poland, one of the former powers, now struggling in battles.
eUSA is like MEH, let's remember when they used to be our enemies.
eCroatia can't help that much right now.
Judging by the power and strenght of the eUK, and the actual enemies and alliances, all I can say about the next battles is Lord, have mercy.
I have nothing against these countries, all I'm saying is that this is not a very inspired alliance.

It's just Poland toying with puppets and alliances again, but so far, it has backfired...

Spain is losing to Romania who have a damage booster from the last competition when that runs out they will have to face Spain in resistance wars on a level playing field which will give a better indication of their relative strengths. Who cares that we were once at war with eUSA it's a game people change citizenship and alliances change if we all stayed in the same place and countries stayed in the same alliances it would be very boring and if were only allied to countries we had never fought or been allied against we would be very lonely.
Yeah, but still, an alliance is based on reciprocity. How do you think that the countries in our alliance are going to help our interests? If you look at Asteria you would see that every member in their alliance has something to benefit from. It is a game, indeed, but the most important players (with a great level of strenght and experience) are members which are devoted to their countries and won't change citizenships.
Poland are the most efficient hitters in the game, you really think they'll have no benefits in the alliance? Spain, Croatia and the USA are all big hitters, especially in comparison to us, all are important aspects of Sirius.
Most efficient hitters? Well I don't think we saw their efficiency yet. They lost all of western Europe. Their Spanish allies lost almost every region in Europe and Polish hitters still didn't show their efficiency. Or did they?
Poland has damage booster too, just like Romania, and it didn't help them protect their bonuses. OK, let's say they didn't want to protect their bonuses because they wanted to reset determination, but why didn't they help Spain then?
Now Asteria has %50 of total damage and Sirius has only. But I think ex-Cot countries will make an alliance which is on Sirius side. Than we will have a game with balance.
Ur damage comparison is not quite appropriate. 😉

Another highly voted Sirius article where the author is completely unaware of the mechanics behind alliance formation.
We all have the right to an oppinion. I say this alliance sux, you say that it's great. We'll see who's right in the next month.

You opinion, while noted, is based on false information about what they can offer. Poland has the second highest damage, for example, and protects our borders.
Spain is facing an uphill war with Romania until their bonus ends and Spain can feck them up again. The USA also protects our borders and offers night damage. The other nations have damage and strategic locations, if you also think about it, according to your logic the UK offer nothing to any other nation in Asteria or Sirius. Because what we offer is actually soft power.
As for you Dapper, TUP uber alles. Deal with it.
