Why I Chose to Resign and Some Congressional Issues

Day 380, 20:55 Published in USA USA by NoneSuch

In response to the message I just received I've decided to explain myself to the populace. I'd also like to point out a few things happening in congress right now that aided my decision to resign.

I chose to resign for a number of reasons. My main reason being that my words no longer carry the same weight. I realize that 51 people are a lot of congressmen and some people are going to get drowned out, but I'm really disappointing so see who have come out on top. My second major reason for resigning is that I'm making too many enemies and the majority of them are the people that have come out on top that really need to be taken down a notch.

I quote, "forgive my ignorance here but what the hell is an MPP?" I won't give a name, but seriously? I feel sorry for the people this man is representing. He's gone on to become one of the more vocal congressman now which I really have an issue with.

One of the other reasons that I resigned which should be of major concern to some people is the amount of people that are trying to push their own agendas rather than do what's truly best for the country. I used to do the same right after I got my diamond company, but I soon realized what I was doing and changed my views immediately. I was blinded by thinking that what was best for my diamond company was best for the diamond industry but the two are completely un-related.

I quote again, "I have to pull money 'out' of the wood company to pay employees at the housing company. That equates to double taxation." This was posted while we were discussing the currently proposed wood tax. I only wish I was lucky enough to have two companies.

I could quote some more and give out some more reasons why I resigned but I'd rather not waste any more of your time. So if I had to give you all a simple, condensed answer, it comes down to there being too much corruption and drama. I really don't like dealing with either and until something is done, little will be done in terms of us having a working congress.
