Ecanadians don't appear to be battling very often. Is it because its more rewarding to fight in other countries? What will it take to get people more involved? Do we all need to quit our day jobs? Is it no time due to work?
Can someone please school me on this phenomena?

I have a eUS MU. I do not want to abandon it but wished to make it eCanadian, if anyone knows how to change that, please help
I did that twice. First thing is to encourage all your people to rejoin the new MU. Kick everyone out, rename the MU to some ridiculous name and make a new MU in Canada. Then send invites to all your old comrades. Not sure but I think a new MU costs 40g. If that's an issue PM me.

Fighting serves no purpose. Other than winning a medal and bit of gold it makes more sense to spend your energy WaMing. Been a long thime since we were wiped. Long odds, months with few gains. Finally got some recognition from the big boys when they noticed how tenacious we were. I loved how pissed off the US was when we signed the MPP with Serbia. 😉

low morales and lack of motivation/interest .. and this is not just in Canada but across eRepublik .. this game is like 5% of what it used to be .. still logging and two clicking out of habit though
I win more Battle Hero medals just by doing random battles. I remember when I had to dump 2 bars of full health + use boosters in order to MAYBE win one. Now I fight randomly fight in a battle and I get random BHs when I come back hours later. Like others have said, the game is very boring and stale. The people running this game don't care about growing the community. All they care about are the few whales (like less than 1% of the users) who spend an absurd amount of money each month which keeps the game afloat.
Thanks everyone for your input here. Input is strong on this one. Everyone in game seems to have same opinions. very passionate/frustrated. wish I could figure how to fix it. Looks like the whales spending the money must be the Croats. they are bullying and power housing through just about everyone.
Well...Money is a big motivator for tipping the scales of fairness/justice that's for sure.Yet another strong demonstration of how money can corrupt a good thing.
speaking of which....I think I'll go buy some marijuana stocks. Maybe there might be a black market tilt into stock favor.
I can donate some q4 food and q6 weapons (soon q7 weapons), not a lot but I can spare some, if someone wanted to start a thing to distribute stuff to players in need to get them to fight more.
I can donate 250 of each right now actually.
