Why can't diplomacy be king with eUK?
Death and Taxes
Look, with 800 years of history of the worst kind, juxtaposed into a game of pixels where no-one gets hurt, it's hardly surprising that relationships between our two sovereign countries would be........problematic at worst.
As in any economy, scale and size are the principle differences, and even as a neophyte, I can see that the UK has enormous advantages over us in terms of population, economy and resources. It is an uneven contest, and considering the English intolerance of bullying and their inherent support of the underdog, all the worse then, that they have inverted these tenets to become themselves the bully.
Their recent comeuppance therefore, gives a certain amount of satisfaction, but this is temporary. The UK will return again, and unless diplomatic efforts are intensified, will revert once more to the John Bull inflicting wipe after wipe of eIreland. This benefits no party.
Unfortunately, a quick peruse through the eUK forum indicates that this will be a near impossible task to achieve. For example from Prime Minister Thomas765
Anyway, it appears as though we're being gangbanged again. We're down to one region and I'm trying my best to convince ONE to fight for us but the orders sheet is yet to be updated. An RW should start in Northern Ireland soon and we all know Ireland is so great at holding on to conquered regions (see Denmark, New Hampshire and their loss of recent possessions).
His highlights/Lowlights for 2011 include:
Highlights of 2011
- Wiping Ireland 12803206420 times
- Disallowing Ireland from having a congress at least once.
- Formation of ESO as a formidable and secure top 5 party.
- The failure of the Croatian PTO.
- Forging a new and great alliance with Poland.
- The three tier army system that brought a great deal of activity to UKAF.
- The tri-alliance cold war that we were stuck in the middle of, alongside Japan.
- (Int'l) The wiping of Canada and the USA in June.
- BCH's attempted PTO of Ireland.
Low points of 2011
- Joining Terra
- Croatian PTO
- The breaking up with strasbourg
- The loss of London for the first time
- The UK's first time being wiped
- Inactivity is rife through the armed forces towards the latter part of the year
- Appleby, one of the UK's decent CP candidates, losing two elections ( )
- (eRep) the total abomination of the media module
- (eRep) the supremacy of gold buyers, meaning battles were won my money and not effort
- Quite a few significant members leaving the community.
With people like this around, I don't see any changes happening soon. More's the pity...

We were not supposed to keep Denmark. The idea was to lose.
And Ireland was only wiped 12803206418 times. lol
wtf?
Well the UK really doesn't have a press right now do they. lol
lol Anthony.
The UK and Ireland were allied in Beta. It wasnt until later we split
Never expected them to change. Anyway, the past few monts Ireland has grown rapidly and fast. We have the upper hand now, we have friends and allies and a strong community. They have none of that. They want to continue the same policy, it's their loss. If they want change, i am positive.
tbh the eUK really can't be too happy with Thomas765's tenure as CP and he will replaced with soon. Whether the new CP will see sense I don't know but doubt it. With Poland getting squeezed I guess they will be waiting for help...
Diplomacy? Peace? We tried that a long time ago. Do you have any idea how boring that was?
What else could UK do?
They weren't strong enough to invade Canada
They were supposedly allied with France
We were the only country that had anything they wanted. + They're 4X our size.
Political power grows outta the barrel of a gun
lol
