Who is an eKorean?

Day 1,075, 14:56 Published in South Korea France by Yonai Keiko

Recently our President Grease wrote an article in response to my previous article's criticisms. I wrote a nice long article before, but eRepublik deleted it with its logging out stupidity. SO here's a concise version of my respons eot the questions asked.

"Why didn't you help in the diplomatic situation?"
I was never contacted in regards to the diplomatic situation. I was on IRC consistently but contrasting time zones prevented me being on in the same general time as Grease. Grease never posted on the forums, never made an article asking the community about it, didn't even message senior members of the community about the issue. His claims otherwise are untruthful and misleading. There were no other members of government aside from the President, and no one I could ask, since nobody else in the community seemed to know about the matter. I will always give my help and opinion on any political/diplomatic issue if asked, but I am not to blame for Grease's lack of transparency and lack of an actual government.

"What have you done for this country?"
If you want to know that look at my profile and figure out how long I've been in existence. Subtract maybe six months of eRepublik vacation time. And that's how long I've been in SK's government as a Congresswoman, Head of State, Minister, Advisor, ATO Oganizer, etc. Quite frankly, if that's not enough to please your expectations of my contribution, I don't think there's a person alive that can fulfill those expectations.

"What right do you have to criticize Grease?"
It is the right - no, the duty - of a citizen to hold his or her government to the highest standards possible. If a citizen feels that their government is doing something that they don't like, then he or she has the responsibility to call the government out on that. It is a citizen's duty to express his or her views on matters of national importance. That is what I have done, and to all those claiming I should be ashamed of myself, I would like to ask you a question. Is not the prevention of free expression, physically or through peer pressure, the first step towards tyranny and totalitarianism?

"Who is an eKorean?"
This is perhaps one of the most important questions posed in the history of the eSouth Korea. I've mulled over it for more than two years now, and I do believe I hold the closest thing to a proper definition that I can think of. A real eKorean, regardless of where they come from (RL or IG), gives up their primary allegiance, whatever that may be (EDEN, PHX, or other), and replace it with an allegiance to eKorea. I do not believe that the Romanians have done this, I still believe that they hold their allegiance to foreign entities above their allegiance to eKorea. Smily132 and Spade, both Americans, held their allegiance to eKorea far above their allegiances to America or their former political party. Thus they were eKoreans. The Theocrats held their allegiance to Dio and Theocracy far above their allegiance to eKorea. Thus they were not eKoreans.

Overall I find that President Grease has demonstrated an extremely poor reaction to criticism, something that I find to be a terrible trait for a Head of State. Those who can not deal with criticism are generally those who find themselves on the opposite side of elections as to myself.

P.S. I must give credit where credit is due. The Romanians, for the most part, have been responding to my opinions in a very gracious manner. Their conversations with myself have been extremely civil, and though my opinion of their motives has not changed, civility goes a long way, even between political opponents.
