Which Country Gets the Most Income Tax? - Day 1171

Day 1,171, 13:03 Published in Austria Austria by erdoni

Hi 🙂

Lately I wondered which government gets the highest income tax revenue from its citizens and did some research. I used job market offers, income tax ratios, currencies, and populations. All datas are taken via web ripper program and instantenious.

There are two categories again,

1-) Total value of income taxes a government collects. Let's suppose we throw all income tax money of the world in a pool and see what percentage every government gets.

2-) Income tax revenue per citizen.

Who earns the most from income taxes?

1-) USA - Gets 11,81% of total income tax money in the world. (No surprise with such taxes and population😁)

2-) Serbia - 10,57%

3-) Bulgaria - 8,55%

4-) Greece - 6,87% (They could be 2nd if salaries were higher.)
5-) Spain - 5,83%
6-) Brazil - 5,35%
7-) Russia - 5,19%
8-) Romania - 4,89%
9-) Poland - 4,65%
10-) Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) - 4,61%

Who earns the most per citizen?

1-) Sweden - 0,057 Gold per citizen. (Average Value)

2-) Thailand - 0,053 Gold

3-) USA - 0,053 Gold (Not the most greedy government 😁

4-) Argentina - 0,051 Gold
5-) Latvia - 0,047 Gold
6-) Serbia - 0,044 Gold
7-) Romania - 0,041 Gold
8-) Russia - 0,041 Gold
9-) United Kingdom - 0,041 Gold
10-) Italy - 0,04 Gold

Note: Some countries don't get income taxes cause they are wiped out from the map. Who?
- Turkey, Portugal, Peru, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Cyprus, Denmark.

Austria?
Well for both categories Austria in bottom 10. So, we are like a tax heaven. Austrian Central Bank needs help? 🙂

Cheers!
