Where is your vote going to go?

Day 451, 12:12 Published in Canada Canada by Zanalan

In our most recent Presidential elections we saw an influx of PEACE supporters into the country. We will never be able to determine what they were doing in Canada on that day, but it points out our need of increased vigilance.

Tomorrow (Saturday), Canadian will vote for their Party Presidents. Some of you may not be as concerned about this vote—it is only the party after all. Please do not fall into that trap. The Party President is responsible for creating the slate of candidates for the Congressional election. In the hands of the wrong person, we could easily see foreign spies running for Congress in every region of the country. In some regions, Ontario specifically, the simple act of running is almost enough to guarantee you a seat in Congress. Do not let this happen!

Before you cast your vote tomorrow, have a look at the candidates. Ask questions about them. Prove in your own mind that they are not a risk. If you have concerns you should take the time to resolve those issues before you vote. If you cannot resolve the issue to your own satisfaction then I urge you to reconsider your vote. It is the only way we can keep Canada in the hands of Canadians. We need to make this happen!

In fairness, I believe that most of the parties have dedicated, loyal Canadians running for President. I have worked with many of the candidates to improve the government or prepare the CAF for action. It is equally likely that many of you have had similar interactions. In those cases, you have already verified their suitability. It is the others that you should think about. They are the ones requiring increased vigilance.
