Dear People Of Romania!
Romania has a very good propaganda department. We have acknowledged it several times reading the articles and experiencing the general feeling in the Ukraine. Sebamah did hist task leading the propaganda department very well. But today something happened, that was far more than propaganda, it was the humiliation of a nation. As you obviously know, I'm talking about President Sebamah's article. He has alleged in his deleted article, that Hungary recruited extremists, nationalists not only to take our regions back, but also to conquer Romania.
Of course, Romania needed this article in order to excite you, dear Romanians, who are now on the losing side of the war.
But President Sebamah has also deeply hurted many Hungarians' feelings. Our former Minister of Foreign Affairs Kovacskoko has answered in his article so passionately, that he has got 3,5 FP and in this way got permanently banned. Zoli has made a game of words with the name of your favourite animal, he got banned for 3 days. After these events several people wanted to show their solidarity towards them and requested an appeal in an open letter, however all of them knew, that they would be banned for that.
I am still sure that this is a game in which one should be fair. A game can get closer the participants. If it raises anger and hate, someone plays the game wrong. I don't want to make excuses for my fellow citizens, but President Sebamah can also not apologize. And he has written the first arrogant and offensive article. I would like to hope no similar articles will be written on any side. Let's try to play this game and respect each other.

This attempt comes a bit late. I wouldn't call Kovacskoko's articles passionate, but RL offending. However, I have signed the open letter as a sign that things have to stop indeed.
I think Mikrobi hit just the right tone, seeing that the first two commenters show such an apologetic stance, using these adjectives for Sebamah's behavior. You don't have to go out of your way apologizing, please, let's just play on.

Your former MoFA "pationatly" associated on the fraze "all Romanian children" a picture. so, he is perm. bann now. He can make an appeal to the admin.

Thank you rodan and all of you, who recognize, how serious this situation is and think that this manner of manifestation is not worthy neither for Romania, nor for Hungary. We can fight each other without hate.

I do not think the text in bold is used in accordance to the expectations set by a diplomat, a MoFA like you. Especially since that can be argued about.
Today's events though I think were not judged well (cough cough). Kovacskoko while mixing in his article RL views deserved a greater penalty than Sebahmah and Zoli (who stayed in-game), he got 3.5 FP's which is very suspicious. (Btw, Zoli got 3 days? I thought only 1)

Still, I am not here to decide, it is not my job, it is the job of other persons.

And a comment for "losing side": maybe you will take over the initiative in the war, but up till now the EDEN/FORTIS seemed to be on the losing side. It's not my office to decide, who is better NOW, but Romania definetely needed an article to excite you against us.
@Mikrobi: no, we didn't need an article tu "excite" us against you, we're allready "excited". I'm pretty sure it was ment to excite YOU. And I guess it hit the bullseye allright 😉
@Mikrobi. I think you also know what the purpose of that article was: to get the eHungarian population to want war with Romania - and start it.
It was not meant (as some implied) to ban some citizens who will respond to that. I am sure that was not the intention, but it was a collateral damage.
And while I do not agree with Seba's article, I still think that in majority both communities (Romanian and Hungarian) showed a good deal of solidarity.
Some people in Romania signed Kovacskoko's unban topic, one (Flik) even wrote an article asking people to sign it, and all in all (with a few exception everywhere) citizens were ok from my point of view. (Unfortunately there will always be that exception).
Mikrobi - where you were after Podolia and WSR, when a lot of eRomanians got temp. bann or perm. bann for the articles they posted??

i have a child, may be you have one (or you want to have one in the future). No child should be made a reazon for fun in this game.

Lots of people in Romania agreed with the unban letter, I would sign it but it is not available anymore.
As long as some people see things like that association of the Romanians with such pictures, the game mixes with extreme xenophobiac atitudes in a dangerous way...
I also believe that you would shout to the skies if I would publish -but I do not have a newspaper- some articles linking eHungarians with humiliating images...

It's an unfortunate attitude from both sides.
I pretend that I don't understand that the title is in fact a retorical question and I will answer to your "question":
- "The border of the Propaganda" should stay right between RL and VL. The border should be placed on the map of Erepublik and not on youtube and other sites from RL where your colegues are linking "excited" and dreaming to a fantastic map. You kknow what I mean...

Where was I... yeah, I remember. I signed open letters to unban people, I wrote letters to admins to stop that madness, I wrote articles that got deleted or put to the forum, and I tried to make people not to leave the game because of the same kind of injustice that I saw today. The only difference is that now our people were banned even for writing an open letter to the forum. Back then you could at least do that.
But I guess it is easy to forget. If you do not want to remember.
and sebah got to RL too, for he accused us of bringing RL hatred and extremism into the game. What the heck is that if not IRL???

but when someone comes and talks about an entire country A RL COUNTRY with images from RL that placed in a special context can harm my RL country... sorry HERE I DRAW THE LINE.
I have no idea what kid from the other part of the world sees that and gets the impresion that RL Romania is some third world country.
You can say what ever you want but that was uncalled and unfair on his part and the punisment is quite easy in my opinion.

Yes, it worked. It was a good propaganda article. Exactly that's what I'm saying. But what has it costed? I'm speaking not only the bans. Some people has abused the other's nation! That's the main problem!

sebah was the provocateur, sebah started the flaming, sebah got into RL first - and he got only one day, and only when the Hungarian community had started an uproar. It is unfair, unjust and plainly biased. 😕

Zoli's article broke absolutely no law, he was banned for 3 days because he is Hungarian and he dared to answer to sebah's provocation in style.

It was uncalled for but the punishment was way off the scale, considering that he only answered a provocation by sebahmah who also got into RL stuff and insulting. :/
@Quicksilver: stop it! We should all be happy, including you, that Kovacskoko got punished. I think we all want a clean game, right?
So let's not make up excuses for people like him, it will only encourage others to brake the rules, to offend innocent people, because hey... Quicksilver is going to defend them afterwards 🙁

1. Zoli is romanian.
2. Like I said his article was ok, but I'm not sure of all his comments. Some of them neither of us seen. I think he is the only one who can say if his ban was fair or not.
3. About who started and who got banned... If I show you my tongue and you split my head with an axe for that, I don't think your are excused.
Please don't start with the admins hate the eHuns since I really don't think that. If you do honestly think that hungarians are persecuted in this game by the admins, I'm sorry but there is no more argument I can bring since the "persecution fear" disease is sadly incurable.
