Where are the houses?
Amalgamated Austria Inc
The loudspeakers come to life in a buzz of static. A monotone voice cuts in.
"Radio Free Austria would like to state that the views and comments presented herein do not necessarily reflect on the views of this medium's staff and/or management."
There is a brief shuffling of papers and a charismatic voices breaks the growing silence.
"We here at the RFA are always seeking guest orators to come on air and share their views on eAustrian politics, lifestyles, pretty much anything. Today we are pleased to welcome a speaker with strong values and strong views on what is right and what is wrong with eAustria. His viewpoints may very well be controversial but we at the RFA are pleased to be a free speech outlet for those that may otherwise not be heard."
"Thank you, Mr. Von Doom. Today, I would like to speak briefly on the housing situation in eAustria. Quite frankly, where are the houses? The ruling elite, the power government, the leftists, would have you believe that we are moving towards some universal utopia and yet only a select few have sufficient domestic dwellings.
Why is this? Any traveller that moves to eAustria or any citizen born here can readily purchase a multitude of weapons so that they can take the wellness away from others but when I go to purchase a dwelling to benefit my own wellness none is available to me. How is that an ideal to uphold? How is that progress?
I can kill but I can not sleep in a warm bed. Is that utopia? Is that forward momentum? No.
So I ask the listeners, why do we continue to vote leftists? Why do we continue to put our support behind a government that seemingly stands more firmly behind the weapons producing companies than the overall infrastructure of our nation?
In order for eAustria to be first, we must put eAustrians first. Such measures call for heroes. Are there no heroes in eAustria? Are there none that will stand for what is right regardless of what is said by the opposition?"
The broadcasts abruptly goes to static and the voice of Mr. Von Doom cuts back in.
"Well, thank you for that....interesting commentary. I am certain those that you targeted will heed your call.
And to all you listeners at home, or in the streets as the case may be, we here at RFA would like to invite you to submit your own commentary for rebroadcast here on the free speech voice in eAustria, Radio Free Austria. Have a great night."
The speakers cut to static and then go silent.
Comments
Hi, as one of the companies that produces houses, I can tell you that we produce about 2 houses/day.
Since we are the only ones (the other q1 company is inactive and maybe dead), our houses are immediately sold.
Just wait till this evening and one more house will be on the market 😉
very nice style Von Doom.
anyway, one of the houses producers in eAustria just replied to you.
the only way we as Government could help this is to lower the import tax or pay licenses to foreign companies to have them selling houses here.
The fact is that the austrian market is small and a bit fragile at the moment. But I will put the question in the Congress forum, and I\'ll ask to the two countries with which we already have a trade agreement to export houses to Austria (hopefully at good prices).
The other options we would prefere is to invite people to open a house company here. We have in the program the possibilities of injections for companies. We could dothis in conjunction with a bounty system for house companies.
I also tel you that there is already the possibility to have private loans with the Bank of Vienna for purchasing a house.
you can find more infos here:
http://www.erepublik.com/article-397222.html
you can also contact directly in pm the Austrian Banks Governor Chicco.
Thanks for your concernings
Mappina
President of eAustria
So I ask the listeners, why do we continue to vote leftists? Why do we continue to put our support behind a government that seemingly stands more firmly behind the weapons producing companies than the overall infrastructure of our nation? if you really want to do something a part stupid propaganda against the present Government that is the only one doing really something for the eAustrian citizens, try to open a house company.
looking at these criticisms, I would like also know what are the proposal from your party.
till now there was no one. NO ONE.
You have anyway two solutions:
- wait and you\'ll have your house (I anyway wonder how in 4 days you have the money to buy a q2 house, but this is another issue).
- buy a ticket and go to a foreign market. Buy a house and come back if you want.
good afternoon
Kiara
I\'m always happy when i see media activities in our country, but when i read this article... i don\'t know, at the beginning i thought that he simply didn\'t knew how works this game, then i took a look of his profile.. \"slovenia, slovenia\" (why are you here, then? ...) .
it doesn\'t need explanations
and of course he don\'t have real arguments, neither the citizens are interested in this fake arguments
I am not sure what you are referring to, Cornolio. Perhaps you should empty your cache. I have not been in Slovenia for a while now.
The point of satire and RP productions and propaganda are not always to have \"real\" arguements. We are playing a game afterall.
that\'s true, this is a game, but if you say do not vote to left and blablabla, so you should start to see what the party in which you stay did till now.
I gave you all the answers to your issue. Now I wait for a feedback from you. 🙂
The best feedback I can provide is to seek a solution to the problem. When I am capable I will create a housing company.
well that\'s a starting point.
We are anyway already working on that.
I fully agree with this article. Where are the houses? The hospitals? What is our government doing to rectify this serious issue? No housing or hospital companies and yet weapons and moving tickets are plentiful. If this is allowed to continue people will likely be using those moving tickets to head to greener pastures. Something must be done and soon, and frankly, I\'m not too sure our current government is equipped to handle this problem.
If you read my reply you would know where are the houses. Under construction.
If before to talk you would inform yourself a bit on how this game works, you would also know that you do not need an hospital in peace time, and Austria is one of the ecountries that has the higher density of hospital/number of regions:
Innsbruck: q1 hospital
Salzburg: q1 hospital
Linz: q3 hospital
Vienna: q3 hospital
and one more q1 ready for bregenz. In total: 5 hospitals in 8 regions.
As for the houses, we are discussing with different countries the possibility to have a trade agreement and to import houses.
you say that the current government is not equipped? did you even read our program and what we did till now from zero? No, I guess not. This is just a sterile polemic and politic propaganda.
have a nice day von doom friend 🙂

No housing or hospital companies Errata corrige (I do it for you and I hope you\'ll fell quite stupid after reading this. If not, do it, and next time inform yourself before using your keyboard)
as you may look here:
http://www.erepublik.com/domain-12.html
they are 2 housing companies in eAustria:
NGI Real Estate q2 (active)
Malandrs\'s q1 (inactive- the owner is dead. Do you want to accuse the Government also for this?)
Let\'s go to the hospital. Again, next time just take your PS3. You would avoid such embarassement to yourself:
ANHCC q1 hospital (link: http://www.erepublik.com/company-21051.html)
Health Care Center q4 hospital (link: http://www.erepublik.com/company-37501.html)

I\'m not too sure our current government is equipped to handle this problem. Ok, I\'m ready to read what would be your proposal to solve this problem, and what exactly and why this Government is not doing well.
Otherwise, I have just a suggestion for you:
\"Go and work, shut up and work\"
Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Tag
Well, I\'m the Mayor of Bregenz and I\'ve just got an hospital for my city...so...what are you talking about?
Viktor Corinan: As I can see you are a citizen since 6 days, I think it\'s funny that in less than a week you already understand what a goverment can do and what can\'t do, quite funny, we have a genius!
I would love to know if the slovenian life is so boring that you come back here just to polemize and steal some gold... again...
Thank you in advance for your answer.
My friend is just zealous, please do not take offense. The simply truth is that eAustria is more or less currently a one party system and while that is well and good for those within that party, those outside of it may wish to see an alternative. It is my hope to provide that alternative in peaceful ways.
It is my belief that the President and her party wish to see only good for eAustria, likewise, I only seek the good of eAustria. It is my hope that we can all work together towards that end, even if we have some political disagreements.
Also, in regards to the Slovenian issue, it is an unfortunate coincidence that I originated in Slovenia prior to moving to eAustria. I was not aware of the historic bad blood between the nations and do not seek to push any other nations agenda here.
As I told you many times, I\'m just waiting your proposals. Say that you want the good of eAustria is a nice thing to hear. Make it is something different.
Still you didn\'t tell me how you think to do it. We have a program in english and in german. Please read it. Tell me what you do not like in it and I will listen to you.
As for the houses, the solutions are:
- buy a license to a foreign company to have it export houses here. But you will agree that the main interest of a nation is to have its own market and companies. Not only this, this would mean give 25 gold to a foreign company, and sorry, I wish to give gold to an austrian company to export, because this will mean gold for our country
- open a q1 house company. If you want, you are welcome, and we will help you the best we can. As you could read in our program (did you read it at all?) we can inject eAustrian citizens that want to open companies in Austria
- Attract skilled workers in housing here. Why do you think we studied a bounty system (do you know we have it right?)?
- Lower the housing import taxes. This is something I proposed to the congress right now (do you know that we need the congress agreement to do these things, right?)
Finally, we all hope that you and the others that are registering here are in peace. If not, you will know that we are here not to see our country in the hands of someone that is here only from one week and that claims he wants changes.
Where? how? these are the questions we all would like you answer
In my opinion you\'ve got your point, Von Doom, when you say our housing situation is not so good. It\'s true: we\'ve got only a Q2 company, which is not the best one might want. Yet, until someone will have found the gold necessary for founding a new housing company, the situation won\'t change, as it must not. At the moment we\'ve got a gap in our internal market, as demand firmly exceeds supply: if we make place for foreign businesses through imports, though, we will choke future austrian companies even before they\'re born, as foreigners would fill that gap. So I\'m glad to hear you plan to open a company on your own (though I reccomend to you to find one or more associates), as it will only be good for our country.
- eAustrian Minister of Justice
I am not currently in position to have valueable proposals, that may soon change.
Insofar as fixing the housing situation, I plan to have a housing company soon. It will obviously be Q1 at first but it is a start.
