Is it just me or is there something about the equator that people love?

I can't say it isn't nice since I have yet to see it all but what I have seen in my eRep career has been battle scarred. This plague is rumored to be spreading to our very own Continent, yes you read correctly a war in North America... oh the humanity...

I ran across an intriguing PM today and figured the gossip was solid enough to track down, after a few pointed searches under an assumed name in a foreign country I came across just what I was looking for, a secondary source of my very darkest fears... WAR, .

I'm not sure if this news has yet broken in the United States, or even if it is strictly true; I could be jumping the gun (or a genius). Without further adieu here is what I have uncovered;


1. General
Mexico declares war to the United States. Mexico attacks the region of New Mexico, USA to start the training battles. Any other country that wants to participate in the training war, must be accepted by the presidential votes of the USA and Mexico, with each getting 1 vote.

Each country involved may request a postponement of a battle in the case of threats against their nation. The costs of that battle will be forwarded to the next week if postponement is granted.

Alternatively, the parties involved may request an exemption from paying battle costs if the country is involved in an ongoing real war.

Each country is responsible for their own alliances and the effect it will cause to their country.

Mexico's neighbors that participate in training war:
- Columbia can't start any battle towards Mexico
- USA can't start counterattack towards Mexico without the consent of both Presidents for the defense of Mexico.

In the case that Mexico is attacked, other countries that take part in the training war, will try to defend Mexico both militarily and diplomatically.

In case of the United States being attacked, other countries that take part in the training war, will defend the United States through Alliances (MPPs).

In the event that one nation acquires a region or regions of the other nation by violating the spirit of the war games they are obligated to pay 200 gold for each region taken and return the region or regions within two days.

War games will start from Day 830, 12.00 eRepublik time. On Day 858, the President of Mexico will message all participants and ask them to confirm if they wish to continue the war games. If enough countries wish to continue the war games, on day 860 a new contract will be written to prolong the war games as agreed upon by countries wanting to continue. Mexico and the United States reserve the right to end the war games thus has a veto over this decision.

2. War schedule
a) Battles will commence on 830 day of eRepublik and will last until Day 860.
b) Battles will be started every two days, at 12 o'clock, eRepublik time (21:00 CET)
c) If any reason to suspend the training war would occur, after the cease, the battles should have place as in 2b

3. Costs
Countries that wish to buy into the training war will pay the full price (200 gold) of the MPP, unless a deal is worked out between the United States and that country.

The United States will pay the battle costs in full and donate the cost of a week’s worth of battles to the Mexican Bank once a week.

a) Gold for signing the alliance with be donated directly to USA treasury and the country will propose the MPP.
b) Gold for declaration of war shall be paid to “Secretaria de Exterior” (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1473769).
c) Every new country that will be accepted, must pay 15 Gold as compensation to embargo with Mexico. Payment must be send to "Secretaria de Exterior" (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1473769).
d) Gold for battles shall be paid to “Secretaria de Exterior” (http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1473769) by the USA.
e) Any remaining gold in “Secretaria de Exterior” should be taken over to the next week.

4. Contractual Obligations/Descriptions
Should the president of any country involved be banned for any reason, this contract is still valid for its entire term. In the case of a Permanent Ban of any president of the countries involved, all obligations regarding this contract shall still be valid for the next president.

If any signatory which is required to constitute the agreement dies, the agreement is still considered valid and enforceable, and is treated as if the party is banned, listed below.

Fines can be paid by any means necessary, from country's treasury, National Bank or any other Orgs used in the management of the country in breach.

5. Joining Countries Procedure
a) Any country wishing to join training war must be accepted by the Untied States and Mexico by joint agreement. The USA and Mexico retain the right to veto any country from joining the war.

b) Country accepted by USA and Mexico must sign appropriate contract with circumstantial details included with two representatives of founding countries - presidents of the USA and Mexico.

6. Amendments
This contract can only be amended when it is signed, in it’s new form, by the current President of the United States and the current President of Mexico. Editing the original post of the contract is not allowed and will result in a 100 GOLD fine and the post will revert back to its original state.

Any and all penalties are authorized to be enforced by the Admin.
