Join the new world

Geçtiğimiz günlerde yapılan ve tüm dünya basınında geniş yankı gören genel seçimler halen konuşulmaya devam ediliyor. İçinde Türkiyenin de bulunduğu birçok ülke yeni hükümetlerin seçimlerde, hile, sahtekarlık ve hatta darbe yaptığını iddia ediyor.

İddiaların başında ise "yeni doğan bebeklerin" kimlik bilgileri ile seçimlere kayıt yapıldığı, ve bu hatırı sayılı oyların yeni hükümetlerin lehine kullanıldığı geliyor.

Özellikle Meksika ve İrlanda halkının bu konuda çok şikayetçi olduğu aşikar. Üzerinde birleşilen ortak görüş ise, gerekli denetimin yapılmadığı, bu konuda denetimlerin çok daha sıkı olması gerektiği.

Kuşkusuz en dikkat çekici seçim yine kalabalık etnik kimliği ve zengin tarihi ile bilinen Anadolu topraklarını içinde barındıran Türkiye de yaşandı. Yakın zamanda sonuçlanan savaşların seçimlerde büyük rol oynadığı, seçimlerde usulsuzlük yapıldığı iddiası Türkiye gündeminden düşmek bilmiyor.

Öte yandan yeni kurulan (!) medya ve basın kuruluşlarının bir çoğunun her gün yaptıkları hükümet taraflı yanlı haberler ile halkı yanlış yönlendirdikleri iddia ediliyor. İddialar, yakın zamanda teklif edilen eski Yunan ve İsrail topraklarının geri verilmesi önerisi ile ayyuğa çıkmış görünüyor.

Sıkça dile getirilen görüşlerden birisi işgalci Yunan Hükümetini için aslında Türkiyenin güçlenmesinin hiç bir zaman ajandalarında olmadığı, tek amacın savaş sonucu kaybedilen toprakların fazlası ile geri verilmesi olduğu yönünde.

İşgalci hükümetin resmi ve gayriresmi yayın organları ise ABK partisinin Türkiye ye demokrasi ve ekonomik şartlarda ilerlemeler sunma amacı içinde olduğunu savunuyor.

Bazı kesimler tarafından bu tip vaadler George Orwell'in "bindokuzyüseksendört" adlı romanını akla getiriyor.

İddialar bir tarafa, kulisler ABK'nın tek başarısının ülkede bariz bir Türk ve Türkiyeli ayrımı ortaya çıkardığı yönünde görüş bildiriyor.

Acaba ekonomideki kötü gidiş gerçekten Türklerin suçumu, yoksa işgalci hükümete omuz omuza direnişi ile tokat gibi bir cevap veren Türk halkının bir tepkisimi?

The National elections that were made world wide are still being talked heavily throughout the world. A lot of citizens from a group of countries including Turkey claim that the new Governments have used unfair play to ensure victory in the much hyped elections. Claims include fake votes and even cheating in the vote count.

The most talked about claim though is that fake ID's have been used in the election. Most citizens are complaining "new born" baby identities have been used in the selection as legitimate voters, which seem to have all gone to the new Governments side.

Especially Ireland and Mexico seem to be very troubled with this. The common view on the incident is the lack of governance of the issue, and that it should be looked upon as soon as possible with utter care as it seems vital for the outcome of a country.

Undoubtedly the most hyped and interesting election period took place in the highly populated and rich in culture; Anatolia, Turkey. Many claim that the recent war and its consequences have been a major factor in the elections. Huge stress is on the country as there isn't a day passed without mention of foul play in the elections.

On the other hand there is a large amount of harsh reaction to most of the newly founded (!) media, as many believe them to be distracting the citizens of Turkey with huge amounts of praise for the occupying Greek Government whilst hiding the real facts behind the events.

Another often made claim is that the welfare of Turkey was never in the agenda of the new ABK government, and even further that its main mission was to secure the massive land loss of old Greek and Israel back to their old owners.

Official and unofficial press from the ABK side claim their main and only goal in Turkey is to "ensure a peaceful democratic living environment, in which economy would prosper".

Some find this very similar to the famous setting of George Orwell's best seller "nineteen eightyfour", which is deeply disturbing.

Claims aside, it is clear that ABK has at least ensured one thing that is very obvious in current Turkey now. The deep gap between Turks and Turkish citizens, which may lead to a critical outcome.

It is often asked though, if the current economic crisis of Turkey is the fault of the Turks, or is it a "slap in the face" to the occupying Greek Government by the Turks, who have been in solidarity with each other against them.
