What is the Dignity Brigade?

Day 2,288, 10:05 Published in South Africa Bolivia by atrawall

In my last article, I announced that the Dignity Brigade was leaving South Africa.

I feel like this is an overstatement.

The Dignity Brigade encompasses MANY things.
The 5-6 players that are leaving are NOT the entire Dignity Brigade. The entire Dignity Brigade is MUCH larger than that. As Mark pointed out in his article the Dignity Brigade is the powerful face in the opposition of oppression. We have an MU, we had political parties, but what it boiled down to is the foundation of which we stand.

I have this memory
On our forums from when I was CP. I wanted to wipe Uruguay and move into helping wipe Argentina. Mr. Wet made the comment that [paraphrased] "This isn't the Dignity Brigade. In this scenario, we are attempting to be the bullying oppressors." He again said a similar thing when Leon was President and we moved into helping wipe Brazil. (Needless to say we still had fun and participated)

The core belief of our affiliated political party has always been:

"We strive for idealism, not political office. We believe in a fully sovereign eSouth Africa and in sharing the wealth."

Rexdeus once came into the forums once and sai😛
"DB has lost its teeth, DB-has become just another eBR suck up party, and is why i left, not enough balls in DB to rock the boat. Good luck (CP candidate), i rather not vote, than vote for someone that would strengthen the relationship with eBR. Sad there is absolutely no party that exist for the reason i joined DB, not even DB."

So What do these ramblings mean?
The 5-6 people moving do not encompass the WHOLE of the Dignity Brigade. The Dignity Brigade is everyone who is against forced oppression. Everyone who sees that South Africa is MORE than just an Aluminum region for another country to occupy.

I would argue that the HEART of the Dignity Brigade lies in many of the people remaining here. Rexdeus, Rico Suave, Nickerball, Wacky368, Grimstone, Luc Praetor. These are the passionate, the current voices of us and they will continue to speak. Hopefully new members will join the ranks for a FREE South Africa!

In my opinion, the small amount of leaving citizens isn't well representative of the Dignity Brigade anymore and is now looking to regain some perspective and fun in the game.

I'm sorry I misspoke in my last article.

The Dignity Brigade is NOT Leaving.

We are, however, growing, expanding and re-lighting our fire.

This reflects Claudio's views of the situation and should not be seen as a statement from the Dignity Brigade as a whole

Dignity First!
Dignity Forever!
