What is the Canadian Paradox? - The Braham Model of Governance

Day 561, 09:34 Published in Canada Canada by vincent chaotic

The Canadian Paradox Party has been a mainstay of Canadian politics for over 18 months, by far the oldest and most active political party in our nations history. It has always commanded seats in congress, produced several high profile politicians, businessmen, and three prime ministers. So what is the Canadian Paradox? Research into the party's roots will reveal that the name itself is grounded in an old paradoxian culture based on the internet, but beneath the hilarious name we also note a glimmer of truth. For it was under a CPP leader that eCanada truly found a Paradoxal government.

If I may embark upon a twilight zone parody for a moment:

Imagine if you will, an announcer you can barely understand, he refers to a hegumphebaba, but you don't know quite what he said. Maybe he had food in his mouth, or perhaps he was a little drunk. It is remotely possible that he might have said something about... the Paradox Zone!

Submitted for your approval, a recipe for a paradox. Take one cup of Canadian Nationalist Party, driven at all costs to boot the CPP from power. Mix in a two dashes of leadership scandal in each major party, and three tablespoons each of economic devestation, war-shattered nation, and enraged society. Bake at 450 degrees for a month, and you end up with a recipe known only to a madman: a recipe for the perfect government.

Yes, the real Canadian Paradox lies in our nations past, in a government borne out of political, economic, and social strife, that laid the foundation for our nation and its future prosperity: the government of Paradox President Derick Braham. It is said that great hardship creates great leadership, and nowhere in our nations history is this more true than in Braham's presidency. The CEP of the time was known as the Canadian Nationalist Party, which despite fielding slates of competant candidates, comprehensive platforms, and alternative leadership for the nation, could not unseat the two term CPP president Faltnor. The CEP was seemingly poised as a government in waiting during the US-Canada war, as a crisis in leadership was created within the Paradox party as Faltnor went inactive, and newly re-elected party president Prussian King (Tom Hagen) resigned the presidency to one of his CNP rivals, Nova Scotian cabinet minister Derick Braham. But a backlash against CNP leader John Wilkmot was caused by his involvement in the unpopular peace agreement of the day, and devestated the CNP's chances for government. Wilkmot soon left the party and the nation to travel the world, leaving his party in the hands of a rookie politician named Adam Sutler.

It was out of this political strife that the true Canadian Paradox was formed, For two parties who had been vicously competetive in the past, borne from a system that was excessively partisan and often violently oppositional, recognized the dire situation their nation was in and instead joined forces to lead it to glory. The Canadian Paradox Party under Derick Braham, and Norsefire Party of Canada under Adam Sutler put aside their political differences to form the nations first government that was not only bi-partisan, but non-partisan. The best minds from each party were selected to lead their respective cabinet ministries, all under the guidance of Braham's forceful yet inclusive leadership style. Working together, the CPP's Braham, NPC's Sutler, and the newly formed CSD's Cottus Arci guided eCanada into the Mediterranian alliance to protect our borders. They brought in foreign food imports to end a national famine caused by the war and the brain drain that accompanied it. They organized the Canadian Armed Forces into a fighting machine, the model of which has evolved into the CAF we see today. And they took a crippled recessionary economy, and turned it onto the track to recovery on the back of a Canadian Dollar which surged with the power of a locomotive.

The Braham Model succeeded because it put aside the partisan rhetoric which has became a mainstay of eCanadian politics. It recognized the problems that everyday eCanadians faced, and brought in all parties to the table to reach a solution.

Now, eCanada has the potential to once again create the Canadian Paradox. Since the beginning of this year, we have seen the rise of party blocs designed to elect a single candidate, be it the PPC's blind endorsement of the CEP's Bruck, or the CSD's blind endorsement of DAL's Dominik. But now, for the first time in far too long, some of eCanada's political parties are putting aside their political differences to produce a platform, a candidate, and an alternative born not out of a desire to defeat an incumbant, but to elect a Brahamic Government once more. the Canadian Social Democrats, with a wealth of congressional experience, has initiated discussions with the Canadian Paradox Party to select a candidate who could not only win, but become the shining example to all eCanadians, a candidate who can provide the idealistic integrity and realistic perspective to guide eCanada into a new era. The CPP and CSD have produced not only a candidate, but a full fledged multi-partisan cabinet, drawing upon the wealth of experience available from each party, by selecting the best and the brightest for cabinet experience. This Jacoban Coalition has reached out to smaller parties such as DAL and the CLP in hopes of not only gaining their endorsement, but in hopes of bringing their own unique perspective and ideals to the cabinet table. The Jacoban Coalition has named some of the greatest minds of the CEP to vital cabinet ministries, recognizing the competance they have already displayed. The Jacoban Coalition thas the potential to once again create the Canadian Paradox, the perfect government formed from the most brilliant minds of all parties.

The last time a humble Nova Scotian was bestowed the honor of the Presidency, eCanadians saw one of the greatest governments this game has ever known arise. It is time for eCanada to let another Nova Scotian bring about that same competant and effective government we sorely deserve.

So as a Congressman from Nova Scotia, as the manager of a charitable organization, as a passionate advocate for the Underdog, and as an intensely patriotic eCanadian, I urge you to vote for this Canadian Paradox, this great government when you mark your ballots on the 5th. Not because he's Paradox, not because I'm CSD. I will be voting for Jacobi, because I believe in fiscal responsibility, I believe in non-partisan governance, I believe in the Rights and Freedoms guaranteed by our constitution, and I believe that a government must be brilliant in all that it does. I believe in Jacobi!

Vote for Responsiblilty. Vote for the maintainance of your rights. Vote for change you can believe in,

Vote Jacobi for President!
