To My Fellow Ohioans,

I have received numerous requests for a platform so I felt it best if I established my views clearly within a platform article. My past article, was a declaration of intent to run and this will stand for my platform. So without further ado, here is my platform:

Transparency

"The most important function of a democratic government"

Ttransparency is one of the most important jobs a government which establishes itself to be for the people and by the people. I have always been as transparent as possible. At one point I maintained a website with my voting record, since then I have discontinued it because of the low response I was getting. I have also tried publishing regular articles about Congress but found them to simply add more clutter to our media system. Therefore I maintain transparency by participating in Congress' voting records and I always reply to messages I receive asking me about my vote or my policy.

Infrastructure

"Stability before spending"

Infrastructure is crucial to maintaining a safe and effective defense of nations and regions. I completely support additions to our nations infrastructure, however it is important that a region is stable before adding infrastructure there. Taxpayer's money is a gift to have and it must be dealt with appropriately, building infrastructure must be done responsibly in order to ensure that the money is well spent. Despite the fact that I am an Ohioan I do not support infrastructure for the state of Ohio at this time. This may seem as if I don't love Ohio, but that is not the case. Ohio does not have within its borders a high quality resource nor a high population therefore other regions trump Ohio in the importance of gaining infrastructure.

Taxes

"Support the Economic Council"

In my experience as an 8 time Congressman I have learned many important things. One of which is to support the economic council. They have always suggested the correct level of tax at the correct times, and never have they led us astray. Over the months I have come to realize that arguing about taxes gets us no where. Though, I may seem all trusting of the Economic Council I do realize people make mistakes, in that event I am sure the EC would speak up but if not, and I realize the taxation levels are to high then I will work towards a different level of taxes.

My main reasoning for advocating a medium level of taxation can be seen below:

"The average American makes $9.14 a day and that amounts to $274.20 in 30 days. Now with a 20% tax rate, the average America pays $54.84 in taxes every 30 days. Now as long as that same average American works all 30 days of the month he will be blessed with a gift of 5 gold, or $260, nearly 5 times the amount the average American pays in taxes and an abounding amount of money to survive each month."

Military

"Without a military we are but a gift to our enemies"

Our military makes our country, the U.S.A. Without them we would have 0 regions right now and for that reason, and countless others, they deserve the utmost support from Congress. I have been in the N.G., the Army, the Marines and I now serve within the Home Guard. All of these branches work hard and fight hard to keep us safe, and today they are working hard to gain back our regions. If we were to secure all 50 regions I would still desire to continue to financially support the mobile branches of the army with a small cut in the non-mobile forces to help us set-up an Emergency Savings and to provide funds for infrastructure. Through-in and through-out sufficient military funding is crucial to the survival of our nation.

Domestic Programs

"Without these programs our new players will have one more reason to quit the game"

As a former Director of Citizen's Affairs I am a great supporter of all domestic programs which benefit the great citizens of the State of Ohio and the eUSA. These programs include but are not limited to Meals on Wheels (supplies food for new players), the Dept. of Education (offers and prepares advice for players at all levels of the game), the Welcoming Committee (self-explanatory), the Flying Unicorn Squadron (moving tickets to stranded Americans) and lastly but not least, the Mentor Program (assists new players with becoming situated the game).
