Most will not really be interested in this article, so I would like to put that out as the first line. If you haven't pressed the back button then you are obviously still reading this article 🙂

New Old President

Firstly, well done and congratulations to Edana for being elected another term. Of the 3 candidates it seemed that she had her finger closer to the pulse in terms of goals for eIreland. Previous goals to take control of Northern Ireland have never seemed to materialise in my lifetime here. Ridiculously high aims of increases in GDP and Citizens wasn't really going to happen. 3% set for these is still unlikely but a more realistic goal nonetheless.

Shamrock Enterprises

My Organisation, Shamrock Enterprises, was founded last week as part of a new venture in to the business life of an eCitizen. A Q1 food company was founded by the name of Ringos Dingos. In terms of progressing this business and making a profit, it looks like export is the way forward due to the surplus that we seem to have in eIreland. I have made contact with the Ministry of Finance and Industry to seek advice and to be fair to them they have been patient and seem to support the idea of export.

That said, applications for state loans seem to be fairly quickly dismissed despite the advertising over the past week for people to apply. I can only imagine that there is a certain hidden criteria in place and only the long-standing citizens may take advantage of this. Possibly just people closely connected with the Dail? If there is a hidden criteria is there any chance of letting the citizens know so we know not to waste your time with our applications?

Irish Defence Forces

It seems that making comments on articles does have some effect and the IDF have recognised that I was accidently missed out following enrolement. Fingers crossed this will be duely addressed, but I have to wait another 4 days before I can engage with the Forces due to an impending 5 Strength.

The learning point out of this for me is that it seems that people are being missed throughout all the current government incentives and schemes. New users are being accidently missed or unsupported, new recruits aren't being welcomed - next our doctors and nurses at the local hospitals will refuse to provide a healing service!

Despite all of this, I have faith in the Dail to make the neccessary changes with eIreland at heart and look forward to a successful term for Edana 🙂
