Weapons VAT

Why has the weapons VAT been lowered to 1%?! It used to be 15% and now it is 1%. There are still wars going on so weapons will continue to be bought; so we are losing alot of money that we could be getting! I was perfectly fine paying the extra 40p per weapon as it was going towards the government and I'm not exactly poor.

Its offset with a rise in income tax.

Yep - income tax has gone up to 15%. Hopefully it will increase demand for guns too as there is an oversupply at the moment.
