Weapon Prices and Damage

Since weapons are a large part of every player's consumption, it is important to buy weapons efficiently, to get the most bang out of your buck.
Ηowever, after looking at the market prices for weapons in eUS right now, it is obvious that people are not purchasing the weapons that give them the greatest damage output for their investment.
Firstly, lets make clear something that people dont seem to realize. Since weapon skills were turned into strength, all weapon types have the exact same effects if they have the same customization. The weapon type is now irrelevant, and weapon characteristics is the only thing that matters.
So, a Q3 rifle (3 uses, 60 firepower) has the exact same effect on your damage as a Q3 tank, heli, or artillery. People dont seem to know this, or the prices of different weapon types of the same Q would be equal.
When you want to buy a weapon, you should open 4 tabs with the marketplace, and select the customization you want for each of the 4 weapon types, and buy the cheapest you can find.

There is another great inefficiency in the market right now:
the cheapest Q1 weapon costs about 5 USD and increases your damage by 20% for one fight.
the cheapest Q3 weapon costs about 17 USD and increases your damage by 60% for 3 fights.
the cheapest Q5 weapon costs about 41 USD and increases your damage by 100% for 5 fights.
so, for simplicity, 1 Q5 costs about as much as 2.5 Q3 and 8 Q1 weapons.
8 Q1 give 8x20%= 160% on your base damage. (assuming fighting with constant wellness)
2.5 Q3 give 2.5x3x60% = 450% on your base damage (assuming fighting with constant wellness)
1 Q5 gives 5x100% = 500% on your base damage. (assuming fighting with constant wellness)
obviously, Q5 weapons are far more efficient compared to the other Qs! For the same price as 8 Q1 weapons, you do 3 times the extra damage!
in fact, Q5 weapons will keep being more efficient than Q1s untill 1 Q5 costs as much as 25 Q1, and more efficient than Q3 untill 1Q5 costs more than 2.8 Q3s.
It appears that most people are using Q1 weapons because they seem cheaper, while in reality they are a lot more expensive than other qualities. Instead of using a couple of Q1s when fighting, people should save up and buy a Q5. You will be saving money and doing a lot more damage for our country by using Q5s instead of Q1s!
considering that your strength will also have increased after waiting a few days your damage will increase even more than before.

arxaios if everyone was doing this, overall the damage would increase. someone buying Q5s today instead of Q1s would compensate for someone who didnt fight with Q1s today, and the person saving today will compansate tomorrow, etc etc. The extra damage caused by weapons would double.
yes it would double but not at the "current" battle
so for some ppl is better 20% at hand rather than 100% tommorow when the battle is lost
and pay more money for RW etc etc

επισης παιζουν ρολο κ τα cp απο οικονομικης πλευρας δεδομενου πως εχεις να φας κ δεν θες την μεγιστη ζημια αλλα την βελτιστη οικονομικα

αν η αγορα εχει ελλειψη σε οπλα Q5 η τιμη τους θα ανεβει, με αποτελεσμα να παραγουν λιγοτερο damage/δρχ και να πεσει η αποδοτικοτητα τους. οταν η τιμη τους ξεπερασει την τιμη 2.8 Q3, θα παιρνεις Q3 η αλλες ποιοτητες, αναλογα με το ποσο damage παιρνεις ανα δραχμη που ξοδευεις.
η ουσια ειναι να παιρνεις οσο περισσοτερο damage γινεται ανα δραχμη.
I lost you in the math there, and I'm sure you lost it as well, when you started doing the multiplications on the base damage. You should have been more careful.
I'll say it with an example:
say your "base damage" is 1,000
- with 1 Q5 you deal 10,000 damage at a cost of 41 USD + 50 wellness loss = 58 USD approx, if you recover health with food
- with 7 Q1s you deal 8,400 damage at a cost of 35 USD + 70 wellness loss = approx 58 USD total.
SO with same money you deal about 19% more damage with a q5, compared to a q1. Not 3 times more oO
actually the best of all is to fight barehanded, unless you fight a lot. lol

Αν ομως καιγεσαι για το αποτελεσμα κ με δεδομενο το οριο αναπληρωσης το 300 Health τοτε δεν σε νοιαζει το κοστος κ παιρνεις οτι υπαρχει διαθεσιμο

what i am counting is the extra damage you do with the weapons, and not the overall damage. i definitelly see your point tho. thanks for commenting. looks like i have to think this over a bit.

np. the thing is that with 8 q1s you still increase your base damage by 20% PER fight.
and with 1 q5 you still increase it by 100% PER fight.
I have to look closer to see where you made the logical mistake in your calculations (which I will not do 😛), but somewhere the "equations" don't have continuity.

i just got what the problem is. i am assuming that the goal is to get the same ammount of damage from your weapons, so to maximize weapon damage per usd. in reality your goal is to maximize damage per USD irrespective of whether it came from weapons. since fighting one more time gives you 100% if your damage assuming you replenish wellness, that in itself is like fighting with a Q5 weapon. and 10 wellness is a lot cheaper than any weapon.
so in order to get the same amount of damage from Q1 weapons as you got from a Q5 one, you need 25 Q1s. after 25 fights with Q1 weapons, your weapon generated damage will be the same as 5 fights with a Q5 weapon. however your overall damage will be much greater, because your base damage is like a Q5 weapon on its own ("100%")
so, my arguement that Q5s are much more efficient (ie their damage per USD ratio is higher) than Q1s or Q3s still stands, but the extra damage from the higher Q weapons is overpowered by your base damage when using lower Q weapons.
My strategy for a big fight - combine a Q5 and five Q1's. I use the Q1's to finish off an opponent who only has a little bit of strength left after hitting him/her with a Q5. Saves the punching power (I think) of the Q5 weapon to drain a stronger opponent. Make sense?
this is another misunderstanding. every time you press fight, the influence that is added to the battle is calculated based on what weapon you used, your strength, rank, and wellness. it is unrelated to the computer generated opponent. its just that in order for the influence to actually be applied in the battle you need to beat that opponent. so, if you do one fight with a Q5 and get the opponent to be almost dead, and then do another fight with a Q5 to finish him off, the influence you will contribute will be two fights with a Q5.
