We have awakened a sleeping giant

and filled her with a terrible resolve.

These words supposedly belong to Admiral Yamamoto, head of the Japanese Navy in World War Two. It seems fitting then that 68 years after he attacked US forces at Pearl Harbor, the eUS will attack Kyushu, the site of Japan's Naval forces in that war. Even more fitting is a quote directly attributed to him.

"I can run wild for six months … after that, I have no expectation of success"

It was six months ago that we region swapped with Indonesia, under duress of invasion, to allow PEACE (Now Phoenix) to invade the United States. And now we face a reversal of fortune in a World War Japan did not want, did not support, and did not fight in. Some in the US say that this is our punishment for the choice we made. But I know that most in the eUS do not believe that. It is words they say to fire up their population, but in their hearts they know that Japan is as much a victim as the US.

Still, as we now face the hammer that has been hanging over our heads for the past 6 months, we must stand firm. Japan is a proud nation, filled with proud people who do not back down from confrontation. We will stand with our true allies in PEACE in an attempt to safeguard Japan. We may fall, and we may lose, but our spirit will continue undiminished. I say now, we will not retreat, we will not waver, we will not relent while Japan is under attack!

Let us hold no rage in our hearts tomorrow, only the pure, cool, distilled will to see our cause succeed. Heaven shall bear witness to the righteousness of our struggle and shall award victory justly. So long as our Righteous Nation principles and Bushido guide us we cannot fail in doing right in this world.

In short. "We must not again underestimate the Japanese." - Admiral Chester W. Nimitz
