eDate: Day 732 of the New World

For the first actual issue of the Irish Underground I'll be discussing the wargames with the U.S., the fall of PEACE GC, and some other little things.

Wargames:
Just two hours ago eIreland attacked the eUS at eRhode Island to start off the first official battle of the Scrabman, Why is Ireland Attacking Us Training War. These wargames have obviously been at the forefront of eIrish Media and has been spreading throughout the Media of the entire New World. The concept for these wargames started a while ago; the eIrish President, Patton, first announced the concept to eIreland 11 days ago. The first time this war was voted for in the Dail it failed to pass, this was mostly due to paranoia from the aftermath of eHungary's takeover of eSlovakia, who was at the time hosting wargames. Patton then managed to sweeten the deal and ease the minds of a stressed eIreland by getting the eUS to promise us to give us troops if we were invaded and to raise the embargo fee from 10gold to 15gold. After these changes the declaration of war managed to pass in the Dail unanimously.

I personally believe these wargames will workout wonderfully for eIreland. I doubt we will be invaded after the stunt eHungary pulled; they did manage to conquer eSlovakia, but not without some serious backfire. News Papers from all over the New World talked down eHungary and it's aggression on eSlovakia. eHungary also got itself into several wars that would have been avoided if not for the takeover. They have nearly lost all the land they conquered as of now.

eIreland is a small nation, because of that our objective should be growth. Growth is exactly what we will get out of these training wars. Not only will we experience higher level citizens. We will also experience some growth due to immigration; wargames will make eIreland a more attractive place to live, not only for existing players but also for players who are just joining the game.

The Scrabman, Why is Ireland attacking Us Training War will certainly open up a new chapter in eIreland history.

The Fall of PEACE GC:
Just a few days ago PEACE Global Community formally dissolved. The super alliance has been around for over a year and has been one of the most successful alliances in the history of the New World. It is said that the reason PEACE is being dissolved is because a lack of co-ordination of its members. Member nations like eIndonesia and eItaly had left PEACE only days before the formal collapse. It was evident then that PEACE wouldn't survive for much longer. One can only guess what will happen to the balance of powers in the New World. Now that EDEN's main adversary is out of the way, we can only guess what they'll do. I don't exactly see EDEN as power hungry, but in times like these who knows?

Two Years
It was two years ago when the New World and eRepublik was founded. I thought it was worth being stated...
