Waiting for the Revolution

As everyone with an ounce of sense knows, revolutions don’t just happen. What I called for in my last article won’t happen overnight. It will be a long march.

As could be expected, my article got the establishment trolls frothing away. What they forget is that I’m not talking to them! I’m reaching out to those who want to listen. I am speaking to the new citizens and the disenchanted and those who are treated like zombies rather than as fellow players and citizens.

Actually, not everything that was said in opposition was rubbish. It never is. Pearls of wisdom can be found in the strangest places! Someone gently pointed out that I hadn’t described how the revolution would work.

In fact, I had already done that. It was just that there had been a gap since I set out my program. Those who know me best will realise that I have a consistent message, which continues through many articles. You will remember that I wrote about my ideal party last month. Someone out of the blue even arranged a lot of votes for it.

While we work on ideas and look for our new generation of leaders to carry our banner, life must go on. For now, many people like me have found a safe house, a home away from home and where the love is spread around. I’m speaking about the Blood Brethren and our beloved leader, Bia Pandora.

This is our manifesto:

We kneel to no one. We are bored with bullshit. We are bored with disrespect. We are bored with pretending we support heroes when we know the ugliness behind the closed doors. We've been there...we've done that. We are your oldfags, your oldhags, your field experts. We've come for fun and bonded through effort and blood for our eCountry, while others grew fat on our efforts. We are your disillusioned. We are not afraid to stand up and say "I've had enough".

This is OUR game, our fun, our hobby too! We'll play it how we want...when we want...and with whom we choose. We are waiting for a true eHero. One that we can RESPECT. Blood Brethren does it right. Sittin' by the pool sipping on margaritas....doing whatever we please, when we please!

This is where I am staying while we prepare the revolution. Come along and have fun with us. No one will tell you what to do or think. We also share the joy in our beloved leader! There is only one rule in our party: NO-ONE EVER CHALLENGES BIA! She is our President-for-Life, chosen by acclamation and sustained by our love!
