Wade Seagrave's Congressional Run

Day 826, 16:24 Published in Austria USA by Wade Seagrave

Greetings my fellow Austrians!

I am current Minister of Immigration and former Minister of Foreign Affairs (In the Borojevic administration), Wade Seagrave, and I am here to announce my second run for Congress in the great nation of eAustria.

I am an incumbent candidate, having won the previous congressional election. I will be running under the National Front Austria Party.

I am not a member of the National Front Austria Party, nor will I fight for their political views or agenda in Congress. The only reason I am running under the NFA is because I have not decided to become part of a political party, and the NFA has allowed me to run under their ticket. I only run under a party because game mechanics will not allow me to run by myself, in which case I would, but it doesn't allow me to. Now to the important stuff...

In my time in Austria, I have already seen drastic change. This war with Croatia has turned everything around, and I am glad that people have considered me in the plan to get Austria back, and that is my number 1 priority.

As far as past experience, I am a 3 time congressman. 1 in USA, 1 in Lithuania, and 1 in Austria. I have served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs twice, in Austria and in the United States. I have served many months in America's Statistical Analysis and Development Department and the Economic Council. I have also spent many months as the American Ambassador to Indonesia, and after I was Ambassador, I became the Director of Ambassadorial Affairs for almost 4 months. I have held many other positions, but I don't see much purpose of it here. I want to tell you what I will do, not what I have done.

Priority #1
Get Austria back under out control. I am not sure how we will do it, but this is my number 1 priority to push to get. I am going to work with many members of the Austrian cabinet and give my opinion on ideas to get it back ASAP.

Foreign Affairs
I would highly favor our previous idea of being a neutral (Not isolationist) nation, but as we've seen, it has not worked that well in recent history. I am going to hopefully work to push that the cabinet go to each citizen in Austria via PM and have them fill out a GoogleDocs sheet as to what they want to do, as alliance decisions are very large decisions that shouldn't be made without the support of the nation.

Economics
I am actually the Deputy Minister of Finance, so I am in close contact with MoF Stoneman about many of the ideas about economics. I have a very strong economical background from the US, and plan to put that experience to use to helping manage the economy of Austria via monetary market and helping to run effective businesses. I was also one of the lead contributors to the idea of the Akademie where we will be teaching Austrians techniques on creating and running effective businesses to prepare for the introduction of V2.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them below and I shall get back to you ASAP.
