Votes in the Dail

Day 476, 00:26 Published in Ireland Ireland by Michael Holcomb

Since my last article, I have cast three votes in the Dail.

The first vote, was with regards to a donation of 25 gold to the Irish Department of Defence for the purpose of setting up a Q1 Weapons company. As a firm believer in state industry, I voted in favor of this donation.

My second vote, was for raising the new citizens fee from 10 IEP to 20 IEP. I voted against this, while I do generally believe in a higher New Citizen Fee, I don't feel it is necessary or prudent at this time.

My third vote, was on the continuation of the alliance with the United Kingdom. I voted yes, while I'm not a fan of the United Kingdom, I voted for the alliance because it allows us to remain outside ATLANTIS and PEACE-GC while having the benefits of being protected from either side in a conflict.

And I would like to congratulate Theus Jackus on being elected An Taoiseach, or President as some would prefer to have it. As a member of the ISRP I have great faith in my Party President and his ability to serve as An Taoiseach. I hope to be able to help him in all his endeavors as Taoiseach.
