Vote NO on the New Minimum Wage Law Proposal
Reclusive Monkey
"But why?" I hear you say. "You are trying to increase the well being of all ePhilippines citizens?"
I am, which is why I advise voting no. Employers are citizens as well, and they have to pay wages. By far the highest cost for any employer is wages. At the lowest skill levels, which is where a minimum wage comes into play, workers produce very little. If the minimum wage was 5 PHP, no employer could produce enough to pay the wages of low skilled workers and taxes. They would go out of business, people would lose their jobs, tax revenue would go down and moral would suffer. Just as the ePhilippines economy was getting back on its feet it would be struck back down again.
So, although it may look like a good thing to do, this is a very bad idea. All congressmen should vote no. Had a debate area been set up for this proposal, we could have debated there but unfortunately it wasn't. Hopefully all citizens of the ePhilippines will see this proposal as one that is harmful to the economy and not good for citizens.

Vote this up😁
@romansoldier: carpet bombing is our new media tactic!
@Mr. Dimagiba 2.0: thanks for your support
If the 5PHP wage comes in, to break even I would have to fire ALL my staff under skill 4-5. The same will go for most small businesses. Vote NO.

@ Kalayaan..Dude, you trying to hypnotize us or something? XD lol...
@Kalayaan 001. Are those the ones that got you banned.
@Reclusive. Amen.
Oh, and vote NO.
Thanks for your support everyone. Together I think we call all make the ePhilippines one of the greatest eNations anyone can live in.
Interesting. So soon after the elections and having problems already? Well, who am I to talk. I'm the only person with two votes who was deemed "not qualified". I myself would have voted no but then again, who cares. Nakikita ko na yung pagiging masyadong "exclusive" niyo will be the death of ePhilippines. But, then again, who am I to talk. I'm a nobody.
@Albert: Problems? Not at all. The vote ended at 33 NO, 6 YES so there was never any clear danger. Its obvious that most congressmen, from all the four parties agree and understand what is best for the ePhilippines.
I can understand that it must be frustrating to lose out on a seat when people with less votes than you get in but I'm afraid that's the system. Maybe you could speak to your party members and try and get official support next month.
I hope your faith in the "system" and the "congressmen" is not misplaced. Though if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath. lol
As for the party, I noticed that the PFF's numbers are dropping. Perhaps its a wake a call for its insular rulers.
Oh, stop being a rotten tomato! If you wanna help, then give the government your ideas instead of sulking! >😞
I'll sulk if I wish Mr. De Martin, whatever you or anyone else say. It's still a free eCountry is it not!?
Freedom does not mean license.
Freedom does not entail that you can do whatever you want, without thinking of what other people might feel.
Albert is free to voice his opinion as he likes, but I doubt its the way to convince more people to vote for him next time.
