Hello From Occupied Europe!

My name's Fitisin and, like you, I'm a hostage inside this game that we can't seem to escape. So I thought, "Hey Fit, you're a dumbass, run for Congress!"

As you know the eUSA is engaged in the invasion of Europe. We are not alone, with Argentina battling away on the Iberian Peninsula (That's where Spain is for those of us who didn't get a B or better in Geography), France, Canada and Ireland taking a whack at the Brits and those lovely, butt-kicking Croats bringing the pain in Northern Europe. This is a full Terra/Eden effort and Italy to Estonia is in the thick of it along with us. There's never been a better time to play this ridiculous game!

I am seeking your vote to represent that great bastion of Americanism...the great state of Auvergne! Auvergne is juuust East of New Jersey. "Auvergne" is French for "Get the F*** out of mai Country!" The NBA is considering an expansion there, with the addition of the Auvergne Clippers. The Clippers have been a little pissed about the walkout and have beent thinking that a change of scenery might be nice for a while.

My platform:

Reducing taxes to a level that is appropriate and makes sense given the limitations on spending by the game's mechanics. As a country, our best interests aren't served by building a cash reserve to spend on USAF and OMS spending - it's getting the resources out to our fellow eAmericans so they can spend it on food and weapons, rank up and get strong! We need our Corporals to become Captains. We need our Captains to become Generals.

I submit to you that the future of this game and the eUSA's success is in our youngest players, not in old bastards like me. Wallowing around on the bottom of the eRep food chain is zero fun any more; so let's recognize those brave souls who have joined this game in recent months. Let's feed them, arm them and make them into the eAmericans we want them to be.

I believe that the budget for the USAF should be zero. I believe that the OMS should be expanded and called the Office of Military Unit Support, and that the Standard for funding MU operations should be providing an OMUS volunteer admission into the MU to verify that Daily Orders are in synch with the day's National battle priorities. Confirm that and get funded for that day. Simple. Elegant.

In the meantime, Auvergne is one of the prettier US States and while we're hanging out here, I ask you to consider letting me represent the fine people of this state in the eUS Congress.
