I am standing as a candidate in the Congress Elections on 25th October because I am sickened at the behaviour of those who we had trusted to manage the Affairs of Ireland.
Instead of working for the good of all, they stole from us all.
They stabbed Ireland in the back and left us severely injured and unable to defend our country.
Now is the time to elect a strong Independent Labour Party-led government. We are the only major party able to provide honest and constructive leadership to rebuild our industry and put back the arms supply and training structures which we need to survive at this difficult time.
I call on you all - vote ILP on 25th October and we can work together to make Ireland strong again.

No Bigmike - it's the few rotten apples which have left us in the state we are in.
ILP aims to carry out careful vetting of backgrounds of all candidates to identify past misdemeanours and ensure that power is kept away from those who are unable to handle it correctly.

Well that's an interesting statement/claim.
ILP has a plan to rebuild what's been lost?
What's the projected time-line for this program?
What level of services will remain operational during the duration?
What kind of risk exposure will we be subject to?

Are you implying that the previous ILP led government (whose failure of diligence lost the majority of the national endowment) is an acceptable government model you recommend we repeat?

There are many upstanding citizens who want to see REAL change in ILP's practices before they assume roles of leadership again.
