Vote for Baron Chris as UKPP Congress Candidate
BaronChris
Gotta love a third person article title.
Anyway, this will be the first time (I can remember) that I'm running for congress. I've been a citizen now for five years, but due to real life (boo) have had substantial breaks in between. I'm hoping that I will be around for a bit more now, and want to get involved in politics.
I've seen the state the eUK is at the moment, and it is worrying. I find myself for the first time worried about money, how to pay my employees and whether I'm going to make a profit on my products. We seem to be involved in wars when our other countries have already given up.
I also want to take a bigger role within the party, and not just help make the country profitable and powerful.
So my manifesto points if you elect me to go forward to general elections:
1. Help to push through a tax cut for eUK citizens
This is to lighten the burden of tax on citizens and make up the loss from external trade and promoting donations to the country.
2. Finish the war with Sweden
Either through a peace treaty or total annihilation. We should then refocus our forces on a closer target with the aid of our allies.
3. Promote trade with our allies
A simple point to increase the trade that will benefit the eUK and our allies.
4. Solve the high average wage
I would look to set up a working committee with other congress members and interested parties to find a solution to the high average wage.
Thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Tax cut? I hope this isn't the Work Tax thing again?
Our dream is to have 15 congress seats so we can launch a worktax cut proposal every day of the term.

And blatantly ignore the MoF's figures that keep saying again and again that we run a deficit with 1% work tax?
Good job.
I don't dispute that at current spending levels we'd run a deficit.
Therefore we'd prefer to analyse our spending and see if such items are necessary.
Having the cash presented and available just encourages people to spend it will nilly willy on stupid things like a Pakistan MPP!
