Join the new world

Hello everyone, among the DAL and eCanada. My name is Artorius Perim, and I come before you again to run for DAL Party President.

Here’s a little about me: Have been in the DAL for 4 months, 1x Congress Member of eCanada (Thank you Scorpius!), Minister of Health & Human Services for 3 consecutive terms (Thank you Scorpius, and Derek Harland), DAL Charity Director and I am the current Meals On Wheels Canada Head Director. After the 4 months of being in the DAL, from the beginning of harassing Scorpius until no end, I finally will try again to become our DAL Party President. Citizen B has done an astounding job of keeping our members well taken care of (such as me, when I first joined) Ayeshan has done an amazing job as Party President for 2 terms, and Scorpius has been the Big Brother to us all.

I believe the DAL needs to take on a complete change, we are growing party, faster than any other and we need to continue this, as with a growing party comes major changes. In my term, I will make sure DAL will be dominate in the next Congressionals, I will make sure DAL Country President is elected and I will make sure the Members of DAL receive the full, best service I can give.

Committees

I want to bring a dramatic change to this system. I have to admit, it is a FAILED system, that will never work and will not work. I want to completely get rid of committees and replace them with 5 new postions/masks on the forums. Recruitment General, Recruitment Assistant, Charity Director, Charity Assistant, Media Spokesperson and a SVU Director.

Why? Because truthfully, committees are inactive, bringing in/creating more committees will just clog up our forums and being broken link. Currently, I do not see enough activity between all the current committees being done, and I want to change that.

The Recruitment General will be in charge of recruiting our new members to the Party and Forums. They will make sure each new member is well taken care of and is knowledgeable about eRepublik, eCanada and the DAL. The Recruitment Assistant will do just the same, expect help any other new DAL member the General may have missed and basically “assist” he/she in whatever case.

The Charity Director will be in charge of filling any requests on the Charity Request thread. They will also be in charge of running any Charity Events, or keeping new members well fed and their wellness up. The Charity Assistant will be in charge if filling in any missed Charity Requests, assisting the Director in any Events, or contacting anyone for help/information.

The Media Spokesperson will be incharge of running advertisements for the DAL, running/making advertisements for DAL Congressional Candidates & DAL Country President Candidates. This person will also write up articles for the DAL regarding PP debates, advertisements to recruit members, informing others about DAL events or filling in any media requests made by the PP or others. This position is very crucial because it will be greatly effective in running our congress candidates, getting the DAL name out there and basically letting everyone know that DAL is the party for them.

Lastly, there is SVU Director, a.k.a Strategic Voting Unit Director. First off, I endorse Karsten’s idea to have a talk with all other party’s PP and try to stop this undemocratic secret voting. Not only does this take away the public of eCanada’s chance to elect who they want to represent them in congress, it has spread out to all other parties, basically making it useless. Now, If one party does not agree to this, I will have a SVU director in hand to get our voters ready to fight fire with fire. We will make sure the party(s) realize that not-agreeing to the shutdown of SVUs will leave them devastated. (Not to be harsh 😉)

Operation Forum Membership

Here’s one thing that has been bothering me: We are the largest party in eCanada, yet we have a very low forum membership. This will change when I bring into account this operation. ALL DAL members will be apart of this.

We will Mass PM all current DAL members in-game who have not been registered on the forums. We will make sure they are well treated, and well fed and have a good wellness and recruit them to the forums, where all the action is. This is very crucial because in order for the DAL to work very well in terms of cooperation and Congressionals, we need a ton of members on the forums, ready to act and voice their ideas and opinions. Yes, there will be an initiative to this as well. The person to recruit the most members will win a prize (not decided yet).

Also, I don’t want members spamming members who have already been PMed by another member during this competition, therefore I will set up a thread where you will have to post the members/people who have PMed and before you can go out and mass PM, you must check the list for people that have already been PMed.

Hopefully, this operation will be successful and will bring into more activity on the forums and more communication among us. Also, this should stop the random PP candidacy from people who aren’t even registered on the forums.

Bringing Back Recognition

Here is something one the side I want to bring back, Senior Member forum mask. Why? Because all our members deserve to be recognized for their loyalty to the DAL. Their contributions and ideas, their services, their former congress positions, should all be recognize. Senior Member will not have any special powers expect the access to Congression Discussion. Their opinions and voice have a lot to say once you’ve been in the Party for awhile.

Here is a short description on how to achieve this: Must be in the DAL for at least 3 months, ran for congress with the DAL 3 times, and have a post count of at least 350. Also, the current PP must choose or feel as if this person to ready to become one. This mask/rank will be very limited and will not be given out to nearly everyone.

Communications

Here is little of what I hope to do in my term in regards to communication:

I hope to establish a more active forum for our newer players, in here players can be directed to easy-to-understand written articles for tutorials. There will also be an updated history for us. Now, I know the eRep Wiki may already have this, but newer players will feel more comfortable if we are there to help them understand with any questions we have.

Next, I will make sure the DAL has chosen ambassadors to each and every Party, not only the top 5 parties but as well has all the other newer, and smaller parties. New ambassadors will be in charge of increasing activity between the parties and hopefully, will lead into full cooperation of complete Shutdown of SVUs.

Also, I will do a complete clean-up on the forums, change any topics, or change any thread names that will fit to the assigned position, and also cleaning up our spam. The DAL forums are one of the most important things we have, therefore it is only right to keep it tidy and organized.

During my term as PP, I will make public announcements letting everyone know what I am doing, what have I done so far and what will be done. This is to make sure all DAL member have a good understand of what is going on around them, on our forums and our elections.
