Holmfirth sets it's sights on being the Haute Cuisine Capital of Yorkshire

It might have been just another day on the trail of Last of the Summer Wine, but now visitors can sample the original catering of the area with Owr Dogh Vientnamese catering in the Foggy Quarter of Holmfirth.

Thora Hird was a Level 10 Vietnamese caterer and was often seen huddled around her wok in the area spinning homely yarns about days gone by whilst serving up tasty Bun Cha for the princely sum of1s 6d (old money).

Here we see a new member of the cast, Ms Batty Jnr taking up her place, sadly with her hair scarf fallen over her face in a fitting disguise, she is serving up her mother's famous recipe of Hairnet Surprise. Her colleague is seen frying up Lice Balls, a delicacy in Huddersfield.
