GoBucks is running as Vice-President on the Uncle Sam Ticket.

============================= ======== ========

What are your primary goals in election for the Vice Presidency of the United States and what, specifically, will you do to achieve these results?

To me one of the big things right now is the economy. It seems to have been unstable for quite some time right now. The hard part is deciding when its fixed and what the signs are of a great economy. In the end it comes down to what the American people want to see out of our economy. While the vice president can put his two cents in, I think this issue really falls on the Presidents shoulders. I believe out of any of the candidates Uncle Sam has the most economic experience and a wonderful plan that can lead us to a stronger, more stable economy.

The next thing I am worried about is our international reputation. Lately it doesn't look that good and we really need to reconsider, as a nation where were headed internationally. Do we want to stick out or just go with the flow? Personally I would love to stick out yet in a positive way. I will not tolerate imperialism for the sake of imperialism and I think any affairs we get into abroad ought to be dealt with delicately and with the utmost respect to the involved parties. Too much I think we just push our enemy around and that only makes them push back, we need to try communicating our issues with our enemies before we jump to using force. Yet when the time comes force should be used and we should be ready at all times for a battle. I think once we makes our international intentions clear people will begin giving us respect.

The current state of the armed forces really needs to be assessed. Flaws in the system need to be fixed and we really need some more great, active officers to help our forces succeed to the level which we all know they can. This is going to take a careful report of our armed forces and the problems need to be noted. Then we need to decide with the help of our generals, soldiers and citizens what the best options for the armed forces are. This is a project that I think falls under the VP domain and something I look forward to doing someday.

My final primary goal would be to improve the national governments transparency. I think the government and its agencies need to be much more active in the media, to address what they are doing and to get people involved with them. There are many cabinet positions out there yet I never see much from many of the cabinet members. That makes me wonder what there up to and why they aren't sharing it with the nation. I think all cabinet members should actively report on what their doing. The next step to transparency would be a budget committee as proposed in the eUSA forums. This committee would oversee the budget and ensure all the money is put to proper use. Though I don't think the budget of the eUSA should be directly displayed to the people, the state of the budget and the areas where it is being spent need to be displayed.

What are your views on the current war with France and the war between Romania and Russia? Furthermore, what are your views on the position of the USA in Atlantis?

The current war with France seems to be getting us no where. More importantly it is getting the Swiss no where. As I have mentioned many times if we are truly there to help the Swiss why aren't we pushing towards their country and why aren't we making requests with France to free the Swiss. Eventually this war needs to end because we can't go on fighting forever. Moral is at all times low with recent cuts in military pay and people are always complaining about being under supplied, we need to fix these things before we go off invading foreign countries on a biweekly bases.

As far as Romania and Russia, I believe the Romanian actions are not in the interest of anyone but Romania. As far as helping Russia, that can't be done as long as we are in ATLANTIS. We are bound by agreement not to aid the enemies of our allies and I will stand by all agreements until they are considered null. We as a nation should not go against our allies and our word if we don't want to feel the consequences.

ATLANTIS is a very tricky subject. There are many thoughts to consider with ATLANTIS. Their support of us has been helpful and they are a great tool to make our enemies think twice about attacking us. Yet when you look at it from the other side they are the sole creator of enemies for the United States. We have never been attacked by anyone not in PEACE and we need to realize that. Yet I would never support leaving ATLANTIS unless we had a peaceful option that satisfied the majority of our current allies, congress and our bordering nations.

What are your views about your opponents? If you would be able to work closely with one in administrative manners, who would it be, and why?

I think all my opponents are very well qualified for the job and have the know how to execute the position well. I just believe that UncleSam is the person that wants to apply his "know how" in ways that support my own views and in ways that would lead to a stronger, better America. I have nothing against any of the other candidates and I am looking forward to a good clean race.

As far as who I would work with it would probably be Moishe. Me and him seem to get along well and I have had the opportunity to talk with him on IRC more than any other person running for President/Vice-President. He is easy to communicate with which makes him easy to work with as to me communicate is key to any administrative manner.

What are your long-term economic goals for the United States and how will you work to achieve them in the short term and the long term?

As far as the economy goes at this time I am going to leave it to Uncle Sam. As I stated the economy really falls on the presidents shoulders and I will put my two cents in where I feel it is appropriate. Otherwise the economy should be dealt with by those who have learned about its tricky ways. Uncle Sam has been taught by a former US President and he knows a lot about the economy. A man with a corporation like he has obviously has advanced knowledge of the economy and knows how to successfully improve it.

Can you name any very specific things that you are positive that you can accomplish in your first term as Vice President of the United States?

I think we will begin to see lots of new stuff happening. Specifically I would be sure to work on the Budget Committee and the army restructuring minor or major, whatever it takes to make it the best. As far as the economy goes I don't think anyone can make any guarantees as there are so many other factors effecting an economy in a capitalist environment. I can personally guarantee you will get a more transparent government and a stronger army system out of the Uncle Sam/GoBucks ticket. I am sure the Uncle Sam has some other ideas of his own that we will see implemented during this term.
