V1: Divided Amongst

It seems that whenever I read a new newpaper article from the eRepublik Insider and see the excitement expressed by the users via their comments, I have a feeling that V1 will be taking us in the right direction. However, recently since they announced the release date (2 days from now) there has been growing animosity over the new version; I've even read an article by Citizen HEM to sign a petition to not have V1. So I want to have a full understanding of V1: will it hurt us more than it will benefit us? Please leave a comment saying YES if it will benefit us, or leave a NO if it will harm us. I've only been in this game for a month, so other user stalwarts can give me a better picture of this.

From what I have experienced in the V1 testing the interface is really strange and it is hard to navigate around the place. For example when you try to get a menu to drop down the menu will come down but if there are any pics on the page you are viewing they will be on top of the menu making it difficult to read.
The new war module is quite lame since it took out PVP and now everyone just fights a wall by answering trivia questions. Other then those two things I think V1 will be ok it will just take some getting used to. I would prefer if though they made the website less bright and filled alot of the unnecessary white space,
The 10 slot inventory is a downside as well I think you should at least be able to increase your inventory if you have a high quality hose.
