V is for Victory / R is for Rum

Day 857, 13:29 Published in USA USA by Gnaeus Progenitor
I won my bid for congress in the region of Hainan in China. I was running against at least one legitimate candidate (legitimate as in they had a presentation and no blocker avatar).

Technocratic Party of America

My thank yous:

- I would like to thank the AAP for supporting me in this election. Particularly, I would like to thank NoMistake, Vincenzo Macena, and the rest of the AAP leadership for helping me through my first run for congress. Also, I would like to thank Ballman - really for just being a cool fellow, and reviewing my platform, as well as chatting with me in #app_party when I needed advice.

- I thank everyone who voted for me. My voters, mostly my fellow Tekhnokrats, and kind friends, went out of their way to get me elected. For that I am indebted to them (I think I owe Riylan some experience points - somehow I'll pay him back 😃).

- Finally, a big thanks to Max McFarland 2. I know he hates to get all political and favor a candidate over another, so I'll say this: I wouldn't have run for congress this month if it wasn't for him. While he was President of the AAP, he brought me in under his sixth party involvement initiative after I pestered him [half jokingly] to let me run. He offered advice which would help shape my campaign platform, and supplied me graciously with ticket funding. He is the Crassus to my Caesar (though, he might disagree with the analogy). He also stayed up until late in the night before congressional candidates were locked in to help place blockers in the open candidate seats around the country.

I suppose that is all I have for my readers, today. I hope to the eU.S. well this term.
