USWP - Time for a new dawn

I give you this to take with you: Nothing remains as it was. If you know this, you can begin again, with pure joy in the uprooting.

Today I'm announcing that I will be seeking the office of Party President of the United States Worker's Party.

After months of work helping to keep the USWP strong, and despite setbacks at times, our party is finally at a true tipping point. We must revitalize our members, we must recruit, retain, and train future leaders. The USWP has for years been the place where stalwarts of American politics have gotten their start, and so it must be again.

While we have produced the last two Presidents of this country, our party is in desperate need for fresh blood in it's internal leadership roles. Given that I've played this game for some time, my saying that while announcing a run for Party President does have some ironic undertones, and I understand that. The primary goal of my term will be to help identify our next generation of party leadership, and prepare them to the best of my ability.

Forum activity, actual conversations in our IRC room, and the return of some of those free giveaways I used to run are all on the immediate agenda. I'll be messaging the party regularly with an event schedule, and directing them to the forums for full details.

I'm not going to spell out all of my plans here because most of you would find them boring, but I do ask that you as party members hold me responsible for something...

unprecedented success

It's going to take lots of work and many late nights, but I'm here to serve my party, and I humbly submit myself for your consideration.

It is time for a new generation of leadership, to cope with new problems and new opportunities. For there is a new world to be won.
