Today I am not going to talk to you about economy, but more about how to be successful in eRepublik. The game itself offers a whole panel over very useful tools that help you day in and day out to improve your life and make it easier. Older people often know these tools and use them every day, for their business, military or even elections. They seem to have a huge knowledge about a lot of things, but in fact they are only reading (not all the time of course) the results provided by an internet site.

Younger players that don’t know these sites might have a disadvantage and may seem noobish sometimes when they talk. Gathering information is a key to success IG as well as IRL. This article will try to set things right. I will not present to you ALL the sites, I probably don’t know all of them, but I will present you the tools that make certain site absolutely necessary to you. I will not present to you all the features, but only those that make those sites so essential (some tools can be found everywhere).

It might be quite long, but I think it’s necessary for all of you to know them ! So today I will talk about :

This is probably the most well known in the community, it has nearly 6.5 million pages viewed and people from all over the world consulting it every single day. This site also offers a lot of tools that no other has and this makes him so essential to all of us !

1. Product prices

The most important tool and this especially for all of us that either want to earn money with a company, or save some by buying at the lowest prices need to look at. It’s listed under prices and offers you either :

- To find the cheapest product of a certain category and quality all over the world. For example, you can with this site track where you can find the cheapest Q2 house.
- To find the cheapest raws in price per Q1 (for more explanation why this is the most important for RAWS look at my company tutorial) and this for the whole world.
- To compare the lowest offer in gold per country, this is different from the first as it will only present 1 offer per country. It will also present to you the import tax in those countries, this tool is by this quite interesting for those that are willing to buy an export license !
- To track the evolution of prices for a period of 60 days

2. Monetary market/currencies

The second tool is the monetary market tracker, a lot of other sites have this tool, but I find this one the clearest. This tool shows you per country the exchange rates either for the local currency into gold, or the other way round. You can here again, track the evolution of a currency over the past few weeks.

3. Census tools

This is not the most interesting for most of the people, but it is very useful to governments in the eWorld as it allows them to track a lot of elements concerning their citizens. You can, for example track here :

- The total amount of citizenships and where they are located around the eWorld
- The total amount of residents and if they have other citizenships
- The total experience
- The average level
- The evolution of the amount people with a certain military rank (citizenship)
- Global data about the economy : how much the companies are worth, export licenses, number of employees, the repartition of companies, etc…

A lot of you may wonder why this is so interesting, I can tell you this from my experience as a business holder. You can track here for example the average level of the citizens, if they have a low level, it is not very clever to open a high quality company as you will hardly find workers that will be able to maintain your wellness or will be interested in your products like Q5 houses/weapons. It can allow you to track the most ideal place to settle your companies. Not necessary, but always useful to know. Otherwise for military : know if there will be a demand for high quality weapons as FM often buy them to tank somewhere.

4. Companies

This tool allows you to track all the companies working in a certain domain in a country. For example, want to know who your competitors are in the USA in the housing sector? Look it up, this way you might be able to steal their employees (bad I know). It also allows you to look if there is more competition in a certain sector than normal (or the other way round).

Let’s take a short example, does it seem normal to you that brazil has only 8 and 9 Q4 and Q5 housing companies where Croatia has 7 and 11 ? This knowing that Brazil has twice the population? This way you can track possible investment opportunities !

5. Others

These tools allow you to track the amount of citizens around the world and the amount of new players.
But also, to track the regions and where Q5’s are located, RM ,etc…

The second site I want to talk you about is probably less known that eReptools, but it is (in my opinion) as interesting as the previous one. It has also a list of features that make him unmissable in your collection.

1. Salaries

First of all, and this is an interesting feature for those that are not afraid of moving, it shows you a list with all the salaries of the eworld in gold. You can with this feature easily find where in the eWorld you can find the highest wage for your skill and move there if you wish to. It can be pretty damn interesting as wages can be as much as 5 times higher in another country !!

This can be indeed very interesting for higher skilled so that they can finance their businesses indeen needed, or finance Lana if they wish to.

2. Elections

The second, and this is a feature used by every single party I know, it has a congressional election tracker (and now even a presidential one). You may say: “IG has it to”, indeed but this one is better. It presents to you in one single page the whole list of every single region (useful in big countries), but also allows you to track several elements that are not proposed in game such as :

- The actual number of congressmen own by each party
- The number of votes for each party
- Which % of congress each party controls

For those that look at it right now, you may not see it, but don’t hesitate to bookmark it and use it during congressional elections : IT WILL BE USEFULL.

For the presidential elections, it allows you to track when people voted for a certain candidate. This provides useful intell as it will show you which party uses the most tactical voting (last minute once) or where they are located in the world.

Be sure to follow it up, as apparently, a lot of new features have been included if I believe their official newspaper (or Twitter). The only trouble with this site is that the update time can go up to 15 min, doesn’t allow you to track it min per min, so in the last moments of an election, use the IG module.

3. User search tool

The last one allows you to search players based on more than 18 elements so that you can track down the interesting people in a country, like the most high skilled, highest strength etc…

1. Interactive map

Now that eRep as a very well designed world map, this site became a little less useful than it was before. Despite this, it still has some unique features that are not included in the game yet. You can find here :

- The territory occupied by the major alliances in the game
- Filter the population based on wellness in order to see where the people are dying 😛
- The amount of each military rank each country has
- Where the companies are located in a country, which is useful to understand the importance of a certain region in time of war

Nearly all the feature that you can find on the IG map are also included, for the people with a slow browser connection this site is better as it less heavy to load and look at.

2. Company calculator

You’ll find a lot of company calculators around the eWorld, some better than this one, but out of those I know, this is the only one that has the ability of showing you where you have the biggest profit when you sell outside your boarders.

Let me explain, you can here track how much you actually get when you sell in a foreign country, after deducting import taxes and VAT. Quite important as this may totally change how interesting a country is, sometimes high prices are only due to high taxes and not due to a high demand.

3. Wellness optimizer

This last feature gives you the cheapest way to upgrade your wellness over time in cost per wellness point, very handy if you are short on cash and have a low wellness.

This one is essential for all military commander or people that are interested in the wars that are going on around the World. Some newspapers propose it also, but with other details than this internet site. What does this site actually do?

In fact this site allows you to look at more detail information about battles around the world. It allows you to track the damage done by every single people that fought in a certain battle, the damage per fight they did and also the evolution of the wall. This is always interesting in order to see how hard each side tanked and who had the most people deployed at a certain time. Very interesting data in my eyes as you can see through this how bad a country wants a certain region, it can tell you a lot about the geopolitics.

Fifth site I want to present you has no real tool that makes him unmissable like the previous once. Nothing where you are going to say : WOW I need that. I still wanted to present it to you as it has one of the most complete collection of tools that will make your life easier. Most of them are simple calculators, things you can do on your own, but having something that does it for you is soooo much easier.

So what calculators or tools does this site have?

- Convert prices in every currency
- Damage calculator that allows you to find the amount of gold you spend if you tank
- A tool that gives you the strength you’ll have tomorrow
- A productivity calculator
- A calculator that shows how much money you’ll receive if you invest for ex. 50 BEF in 1 cycle
- A wellness calculator that allows you to track the evolution of your wellness over a period up to 10 days. Useful if you try to raise your wellness overtime.

Besides this quite extensive collection, you will alos find :

- A download page linking to the eUK orders for Firefox and Chrome, a tool to manage several orgs at the same time and an API system for registration in PHBB
- A citizen history page
- Best finished good list
- Best raw list
- MM list
- An embedded IRC client

A lot of tools in one single site which makes it even easier to use.

I must admit, I am not a member of this American Party, but their internet page contains some tools that everyone can use in a political campaign or simply for fun. Most people I know use it for the Mass mailer included, but if you look further, you can find other tools.

1. Mass mailer

So first for all of you that don’t know what a mass mailer is, let me explain. Imagine you have to send out something like 30 or 40 PMs to people, the messages are always exactly the same, without tools you have to click on their names, write a title, past the message and hit send each time. This is quite time consuming. A mass mailer makes this task easier, what it does is provide you a link to a IG webpage with the message already filled in so that you only have to hit send. This saves HUGE amounts of time.

You can see that this is very useful for a political campaign when you need to PM hundreds of people. The only thing you need is to fill in their names or citizens ID. Later will follow some tools that will provide those to you (you can also use greacemonkey scripts for this).

3. Citizen ID extractor

This tool will find all the citizen ID available on a certain webpage. For example, you have a newspaper with a lot of comments on it and you want to thank everyone for commenting by sending them a PM. This tool will provide to you all their citizen ID so that you only need to past it in a mass mailer and hit send !

It makes it much easier as you don’t have to click each time or do it yourself.

7- Others

The last 6 I presented to you are the most important in my eyes, but a lot of others still deserve a mention. So I will not detail them as much as I did with the previous once, you’ll need to discover them on your own this time.

You will find here a company calculator (in my eyes the best) along with Gavator, a tool that will give you a link to your IG avatar so you can use it on forums. The forum avatar will be updated when you update your citizen avatar.

2. http://erepublik.ws/

The host of the biggest bank in the world and host of ERX, one of the Stock Exchanges in eRep. In my eyes the safest as it is backed by the eUSA. Last you’ll find a company calculator, but you’ll have to pay 3 gold for it (not all the others I linked you).

Flag counter, shows in which countries are located the people that actually looked at your newspaper.

This site has a signature generator based on API, a tool that tracks at what wellness employees worked (good to kick their asses if they worked before healing) and last but not least, a random password generator.

A tool that allows you to find the names of all citizens in a certain region based on their wellness, party, level, citizenship, birth date (handful to track new players), if they are employed an their sex.
