US Congress Caters to Clown Shoe Cobblers

Day 601, 04:36 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Daniel Krane

Speaker of the House Jasper Ferguson announced today that the previous 185% tax on clown shoes has been repealed after prolonged protests by the International Clown Posse and the Combined Clown Cobblers of North America.

Many late sessions at Capitol Hill have ended with the honking of many noses and seltzer water soaked business suits. Congressman Cujo remarked on the protests a few weeks ago, saying "I wish I was colorblind."

The US Workers Union has long been against the proliferation of clowns within the United States. With this latest overruling of their Anti-Clown policy they have been forced to accept a limited amount of clown-related corporations. One congressman who refused to be named was quoted as saying, "I really hate ICP. Why can't they go back to mexico?"

The ICP and the CCC of NA are not standing still after this minor victory. They plan to push forward with protests and political pressure for the release of POW's Bonky, Honky and Tonky, who have been in Clown Incarceration since the late 90's.
