Updates on Foreign Affairs

As I log in this morning, a few things made me happy.
First off, something that started in the US quite a few terms ago (back in June if I recall), we started working on a Constitution. The first draft was written by Platonic, and it has since been revised by a few people.
Just over the last few days, it has been ratified by their Congress and signed by the President, only awaiting admin signature. You can find a link [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/forum-topic-63471.html]here[/a]. Congratulations to Archibald and the citizens of the US (and Congress) for finally getting this thing done!
On other news, another project which started while I was US President (which does involve the UK) was the Treaty of ATLANTIS. It was a Treaty that involved the safety and security of all Nations involved, basing itself off the trust and defensiveness of the Northern Alliance.
This Alliance has also been finalised, with only Brazil needing to sign to complete itself. It already has 4 of the largest countries in the world involved, so the UK should be well guarded. You can find the link [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/forum-topic-63202.html]here[/a].
Congratulations to all involved!

Good Work, gotta get ourselves one of those in eUK
Having a single document known as the constitution, and making it difficult to amend, is simply not the British way of doing things. We have constitutional acts and laws, yes, all of which can be repealed or amended by a simple majority.
