Update from PCP HQ - Yes, we're still here
Stan Wephen
Just to remind everyone after the recent General Elections, the People's Communist Party is still here, and despite having lost the Presidency, we will continue to help in government and in congress. We are as dedicated as ever to making sure the eUK is improved for everyone, and are aiming to come back into the next General Election stronger than ever!
Party Elections
With the Party Elections coming up rapidly, the choice comes upon each PCP member once again to choose their leader. A general forum consensus has been made to make Stan Wephen the Party President of the People's Communist Party, with widdows9000 as the Country President nominee. For those of you not in the know, with the release of version 1 for E-republik, the party president of each political party can now choose a country president nominee, so the PP is not necessairly the one who becomes CP.
Join the forums!
The People's Communist Party still wants YOU to join the forum and help us on our quest to better the eUK. It doesn't matter about your political experience, or indeed, any experience whatsoever. We want to hear what you have to say, and the best way to do that is to come onto www.erepublik.co.uk, click on the forum link at the top and sign up for the People's Communist Party forum under the Party forum section.
PCP buddies!
Just to let you guys know, the PCP is continuing to run its Buddy Scheme, where one of the more experienced PCP members is assigned to one of the newer ones. This will help new citizens get a footing on their new eRepublik lives, and give our bunch of older PCPers something to do! So, what are you waiting for? Personal Message me, Stan Wephen, if you're interested in participating!
PCP still in power?
The People's Communist Party still continues to be a major prop in keeping the government together, and has several ministers and mayors throughout the eUK. We have 6 mayors: Keitarour in Bristol, Bremer in Cardiff, Bob Boblo in Newcastle upon Tyne, Reshev Villanova in Norwich, Relic in Nottingham and Baljet in Oxford. We have 11 congressman: widdows9000, Tim09, Bremer, Deilos, Relic, Cheeseball, Bob Boblo, Stan Wephen, Mephit, Kumnaa and Saladin32. We have 5 ministers: widdows9000 as Minister of Defence (with Deilos as under-secretary of Defence), Tim09 as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bremer as Minister of Finance, Cheeseball as Minister of Work and Stan Wephen as Minister of Education. The PCP has, and always will be, as essential part of the eUK government.
Get to know the PCP member: widdows9000
widdows9000 is the current Party President of the People's Communist Party. Although having narrowly lost the General Elections in October, he continues to work hard for the eUK and the government, continuing his highly successful role as Minister of Defence for the 3rd term in a row. His crowning achievements include introducing the 'War Protocol' and the 'War Council', both of which were designed to stream-line situations regarding a declaration of war, allowing the military to respond quickly to emergency events.
What are the PCP doing now?
The People's Communist Party is currently in a stage of building upon its previous successes, as well as creating some new proposals. We're currently in the stage of writing our party constitution, which, when written, will hopefully make people better aware of what we stand for. We are also working on the proposals for a 'Skilled Workers Scheme', a 'House of Lords' (note that we're not actually going to put Lords in there), and a 'National Business Association'.
Why should you join the PCP if you haven't already
Because we continue to be the most dedicated to the eUK, and to its own party. We welcome all players, both new and old, from all backgrounds and diversities of political opinion. We want to be a party of the people, not a party of elitists, and that's why we're appealing to you - join us, and we can make the eUK better together.

Nice article Stan, thanks a lot Buddy. Oh and I\'m in my fourth term as Minister of Defence now, I haven\'t updated it yet.
I thought you disbanded.
Hilarious.
Ironic that PCP are the only party ever to be accused of creating a political elite, isn\'t it?
\"Ironic that PCP are the only party ever to be accused of creating a political elite, isn\'t it? \"
Pfft UKRP were a more exclusive club back in the early days.
\"Pfft UKRP were a more exclusive club back in the early days.\"
as where 313 a bunch of cheaters and multi\'s
\"as where 313 a bunch of cheaters and multi\'s\"
Paul and me were excluded from Government because we wasn\'t in the \"coalition\" it resulted in a few inept Ministers wouldn\'t you say Shadow? For every bad egg 313er there was loads of good ones to choose from. There was also cheating on both sides of the January conflicts.
I can vouch for FD there, there wasn\'t a TUP minister for ages. I think it was Shadow who once said something like \'you wouldn\'t give an important job to a rival party when they could benefit from it\' or something like that.
And we were accused of being elitist by the typical trolls who don\'t know anything at all. Look at our congress this month, I think you\'ll see plenty of new faces.
No Shadow was the one that finally invited us into Government. Though that was because the coalition was no more as alot of people voted Paul over him. He just piped Paul to office.
Aah ok, I think it was definitely a high ranking UKRP member who said that when Kaleb was in charge.
It was Dennis.
Heh, this has more votes than the PMs briefing 😛
Good job you couldn\'t muster votes when it mattered though!
Hilarious again.
\"The People\'s Communist Party still continues to be a major prop in keeping the government together,\"
You missed out \'and we know it\'
\"not a party of elitists,\"
.
Yes, we do know it 😁. We know it because its what we\'ve been doing since we\'ve been created.
Are we a part of elitists? Certainly not! Being elitist means not welcoming new members in, but we do! Just because we work hard and take on jobs that we do best, we\'re elitist? Of course not.
Could you tell me something that you would do better than Widdows? Or differently? Or perhaps something extra you bring to the table 🙂
\"POLITICALLY - We believe in transparent, nonpartisan, inclusive government that is focused on running the country and spreads the important work of governance over many instead of few.\"
I guess some of the UKRP Congressmen do not agree with their party\'s official stance. Too many \"opposition\" in positions of power for their liking while certain matters of import are conducted away from the public eye in Cabinet meetings.
\"Could you tell me something that you would do better than Widdows? Or differently? Or perhaps something extra you bring to the table 🙂\"
Stan\'s been running the party since KIA stepped down, actually. Widdows was our CP candidate, Stan was our PP candidate. And that\'s why we\'re going to continue that way.
>Too many \"opposition\" in positions of power for their liking while certain matters of import are conducted away from the public eye in Cabinet meetings.
lol, wut?
I just think its interesting that this article has got more votes than the Prime Minister\'s brief...
Well Duhhhh...
PCP members don\'t vote for UKRP Published articles
Well I did...
Me too..........
I voted for both
@Pagan
Stan has always been the person who organises the party. That is what he does better than Widdows. Widdows on the other hand has more knowledge in Foreign affairs and Military, hence presidential candidate.
That was me btw
\"Could you tell me something that you would do better than Widdows? Or differently? Or perhaps something extra you bring to the table 🙂\"
Who me?,
No I can\'t, but then again I am mere political party fringe member who\'s not been here long, the question should not be aimed in my direction.
I voted for Rayf\'s article as well...
