Understanding eRepublik: Military

Day 1,608, 06:30 Published in Switzerland Slovenia by JHUNTER

Hello all! This is JHUNTER, the current eSwiss Minister of Education. Please subscribe for more educational articles, especially you younger players! Feel free to message me with any questions you have.

Military Units (MUs)

A military unit is a group of soldiers who organized themselves together. Each has a commander, who leads the entire group. Within MUs are regiments, a subdivision. Each regiment has a captain who leads that regiment. To join a MU, find a link to the MU you want to join, probably on the profile of a member of that MU. Click it and you should see the MU's profile page

Daily Order

Defeat 25 enemies in the battle currently listed in the "Daily Order" box on your homepage to receive a reward of a health bar and one of each bazooka piece. The daily order box is shown below.

Resistance Wars

There are two types of wars. One type is an attack. One country decides to attack another country’s region and a campaign is fought. The other is a resistance war. A resistance war is a war to free a region that was captured by another country. If it succeeds, the region goes to the “resisting” country, freeing it from occupation. If it fails, it stays with the occupying country. To start a resistance war 10 people must support it with 1000 of that country’s currency. If the resistance war (RW) succeeds these 10 players will receive a Resistance Hero medal, earning them 5 gold.

Bazookas and other weapons

You can earn bazooka parts in a few ways. One is the Daily Order. Another is finding the parts in battlefields. The last is that sometimes the admins put bazooka parts on sale, though usually at a pretty high price.
The other weapons are either bought on the market or you produce them in your own factories. Here are their stats:
Q1 (one star): Firepower of 20, 1 use.
Q2 (two stars): Firepower of 40, 2 uses.
Q3 (three stars): Firepower of 60, 3 uses.
Q4 (four stars): Firepower of 80, 4 uses.
Q5 (five stars): Firepower of 100, 5 uses.
Q6 (six stars): Firepower of 120, 6 uses.

Rank Points

You earn rank points based off the amount of damage you do in battle. If you do 10,000 damage over the course of a day you will receive 1,000 rank points (in other words your rank points are 10% of your damage). When you upgrade your rank you receive a 5% increase in damage and a health bar.

Strength

The most important thing in doing lots of damage is your strength. Most new players probably aren’t ready to start training in the higher level facilities that cost gold to train in. So, you are probably going to gain 6 strength a day (5 from training, 1 from “Daily Tasks” reward). The best way to get strength in large chunks are missions. The ones about defeating enemies often give you some strength. When Plato and the admins have special missions that only last for a certain amount of time, do your best to finish them because the rewards are usually pretty good.

How fighting affects XP

For each time you press the “fight” button, after you defeat that enemy you gain XP. So, if I take 5 “fights” to defeat an enemy, I gain 5 experience points after I defeat him.
