UIP - Next Months Party President Elections

Day 628, 17:19 Published in USA USA by Joshua Hoss

I would like to announce that I will not seek re-election for the role of United Independents Party President. I would also like to announce that I will endorse my current Vice President, Stygian Steel, for that role if he decides to run.

The last month has been a very exciting and busy month. Immediately after assuming the role as UIP PP we underwent the “Primary” and “Seat Freeze” issues. Needless to say that was very long and polarizing event. I am glad to have been there for it, to have expressed our party’s wishes, and to have had the chance to show that the UIP isn’t just another part – it is a group of people that put the well being of the eUSA before their own goals.

We also underwent a change in the cabinet structure. While it was a big one it did allow more people to become involved in the party in new ways. I am proud to have been able to assist in that, to have been able to greet new members as they became more involved, and to have had the chance to work with many new people on many new ideas. I really do love the UIP, it is the best party hands down!

As I stated above I will endorse Stygian Steel on the 15th. I have made my plans known unofficially and he has been brought up to speed. One of the reasons I decided to run last month for President was because there was no clear cut other person. I have seen what happens to other parties when there is friction at the top levels and I didn’t want that for the UIP. Having been able to serve as President and allowing Stygian the chance to help manage the UIP was a great way to make sure that someone was there to take over. I hope that the UIP continues to use this plan in the future. Although Independent, we have been, are, and should always be “united” towards making the eUSA the best country in the New World.

I had the opportunity to work under Ansen, one of the best players in the game, for three months. He taught me a lot about the game, people, and the UIP. I owe many things to him and hope that I have made him proud with what I was able to do with the UIP in my short sting. I also hope that Stygian looks back on his time as VP with fondness. I wasn’t always the best person to work with, but everything I did was for the betterment of the UIP.

I am not sure what retirement holds for me yet. I plan on still being involved with the UIP, perhaps as an advisor or some other role. I also plan on maintaining my contacts and friends that I have made not just in the past month, but the past year as a member of our great party. I thank you all for your support and hard work. I will remember it always.
