Sorry for the dramatic title, but it really was a desperate situation yesterday, it could only have been called/described as a Turkish invasion, they came during the month, built up their party and set about taking over Japan, with a obvious loss for them looming in the elections yesterday however they seemed to resort to the greatest crime in erepublik, multi-ing accounting.

Their leader seemd to be at the head of this with 20+ people created within the day to vote for this user, it looked close at one point, i know i reported the party and about half the members to the admin, i'm sure others did as well, but now we know that the plague has ended and Japan can return to normal, i commend the admin on his actions, this is the 2nd successful bust of a major multi-ing party within the month, firstly Team Rocket was dismantled and now the Liberal Democratic Party has felt the pain of the all knowing banhammer.

I think this marks a great day for our country where we can proudly say we won against the multi accounters and we run our own country, well done to everyone who fought together for fair elections yesterday.

There have been small Turkish invasions all over the world but they often failed to really keep on going long. This doesn\'t seem like a big invasion, if someone really wanted, Japan wouldn\'t be hard to take over.

i guess this is the time where we really need to involve lots of parties in the government to keep them united against threats like these.

i\'m not suggesting that we merge the japanese parties. just saying that more people could get involved hopefully fostering a more united country.

I think if a new threat does come we should work it out where all native Japanese parties unite under a single leader for that month to fight off the threat.
