Buon giorno a tutta la eItalia! Sono mjdiv. Alcuni di voi già mi conoscono, altri invece no. Lasciate che vi presenti il mio progetto, una mia idea che comporterà incredibili vantaggi per tutta la comunità eItaliana. Prima di tutto desidero offrire la mia personale amicizia e questo grande progetto di alleanza a una Nazione promettente e in via di sviluppo come la eItalia. Farò di tutto per mostrarvi la mia sincerità e la buona volontà nei vostri confronti.

Io vivo negli Stati Uniti e sono stato consulente per molti presidenti. Tuttavia ho sempre saputo quanto fosse importante mantenere buoni i rapporti all'interno e all'esterno del mio Paese. Quest'ultimo anno ho lavorato duramente per cambiare la cultura degli Stati Uniti, aprendo ad altre Nazioni; in eRepublik, nessuna nazione può veramente avere successo da sola.
Perchè una nazione abbia successo, questa deve collaborare con altri Paese aiutando, reciprocamente, e ottenere successo. Insieme! Lo stesso vale se la nazione è l'Ungheria, Indonesia, Stati Uniti e, sì, anche l'Italia!

Ho spesso incrociato persone a me contrarie in passato, in questi 15 mesi da cittadino di eRepublik. Io ho sempre creduto che non ci sarà mai una Nazione che possa conquistare il mondo intero da solo. Solo con una cooperazione fra molte Nazioni, in una unica alleanza si potrà vincere, assieme. Ora l'Italia può entrare in questa alleanza con vantaggi sia economici e militari! Non chiedo alla eItalia di unirsi a EDEN o Phoenix, ma di pensare a una struttura di alleanze diversa da quelle proposte sino ad ora.

La domanda che dovete chiedervi è: Quale sarà il futuro per l'Italia? Unirsi ad un'alleanza dominata dalla Romania (EDEN)? o una dominata da Ungheria (Phoenix)? o forse c'è qualcosa di meglio? Forse vi è un'alleanza che rispetti l'Italia per tutto ciò che ha da offrire e che accoglierà i vostri pensieri senza che sia necessario parlare una lingua diversa? L'Italia, con tutto il rispetto, può entrare a far parte di un progetto che ne migliori la sua economia e la sua capacità militare così da rilanciare il Vostro paese sull'intera scena mondiale, come una Nazione forte e coesa.

Con questo concetto vi presento ufficialmente il mio progetto di alleanza globale, che si oppone alla situazione di stallo EDEN/PHOENIX:

T.A.M.A. - La Tua Alleanza Militare e di Affari.

La maggior parte delle idee di alleanze che ho sentito sino ad oggi ruotano esclusivamente sul concetto di sola alleanza militare e difesa contro gli attacchi nemici.

Pur essendo un valido motivo per sostenere una alleanza io propongo un concetto fondamentalmente diverso, puntando sulla prosperità e sulla necessità di mantenere compatti i membri di TAMA. Se l'unica cosa che mantiene una nazione legata ad una alleanza è la prospettiva di protezione dagli attacchi, allora le nazioni hanno le stesse probabilità di passare a qualsiasi altra alleanza che sembra offrire le più protezione.

Chi pensa che il proprio paese, riuscirà "vincere" conquistando da solo il mondo vi assicuro che sbaglia, quel giorno non potrà mai arrivare. Nessun Paese, da solo, conquisterà mai il mondo. Se saremo contro Phoenix o contro Eden, non sarà semplicemente una lotta contro l'imperialismo di una nazione, ma contro tutte nazioni della alleanza. Il mezzo per cambiare queste dinamiche è lavorare sulla ideologia. Qualunque paese che entri in una alleanza imperialista diventa automaticamente un nemico per tutte le altre alleanze esistenti.

Ho sentito tanto frasi del genere: "Abbiamo bisogno di espanderci! Abbiamo bisogno di quei territori per l'alta quantità del ferro! Abbiamo bisogno di diamanti! Dobbiamo combattere per arrivare al titanio!". In parte hanno ragione, ma lo stesso obiettivo si può raggiungere attraverso il commercio.

Potreste rispondermi "Commercio??? pfff che noia! Noi vogliamo la GUERRA!" La guerra vi assicuro non mancherà mai. Ci saranno ancora molte guerre nel mondo. In particolare quelle di liberazione!

Una vera alleanza, una vera, forte e solida alleanza si ottiene esclusivamente col rispetto della sovranità di tutti i suoi paesi membri. Essa deve inoltre beneficiare ogni membro dell'alleanza (grandi e piccole) e non essere semplicemente per il sostegno dei suoi alleati più forti.

I membri di TAMA dovranno essere in grado di pensare come un unico corpo, un'unica testa. Non esisterà il singolo. Per dare forza a tale gruppo, sarà opportuno lavorare per la prosperità di ogni membro in questione.

Alcuni potranno identificarmi come un visionario, un idealista, ma tutto inizia con una idea, un concetto. Ricordate che tutto nasce da una idea e dalla passione, elemento fondamentale per costruire qualcosa di veramente solido in modo da trasformare una buona idea in un grande risultato.

Questi sono i punti chiave di questa alleanza:
1. Centrali saranno le materie prime, lavorando sui territori con risorse elevate per ogni materia prima, queste zone devono avere maggiore popolazione e costruire mura più alte. Queste risorse devono essere rese disponibili in un libero scambio con tutti i membri dell'alleanza. TAMA non è solo un'alleanza militare, ma anche una alleanza commerciale che promuove la prosperità di tutte le nazioni coinvolte. Nazioni nell'ambito dell'Alleanza avranno 1-5% di tasse di importazione massima su tutte le risorse di alta qualità. Le nazioni esterne alla nostra alleanza potrannno essere soggette a embargo, ma non quelle interne all'Alleanza. Le nazioni all'interno dell'Alleanza sono libere di adeguare le proprie imposte sul reddito e le imposte sulle vendite in modo opportuno in base alle decisioni dei rispettivi congressi, ma non aumentare le tasse di importazione a livelli protezionistici.

2. Ogni nazione deve avere una organizzazione militare necessaria per difendere i membri dell'alleanza che verranno attaccati nel loro territorio. I membri non saranno tenuti ad assistere alle operazioni offensive, ma solo in quelle difensive. Tutte le Nazioni sono autorizzate a coordinare le operazioni offensive se lo desidereranno. Ogni nazione è libera di avere patti di protezione reciproca con i paese che sono al di fuori dell'alleanza.

3. I membri dell'Alleanza devono rispettare la sovranità di tutti i paesi membri a salvo particolari accordi (per esempio land swap, training war ecc.).

4. Per proteggere i membri dell'alleanza dalle pratiche commerciali sleali che non consentono la concorrenza straniera, si imporranno embarghi da parte di tutte le nazioni in seno alla nostra Alleanza. Salvo accordi per agevolare le imprese italiane (con le altre nazioni alleate).

Con questi punti appena descritti ogni nazione beneficerà del sostegno militare di tutte le nazioni coinvolte in caso di attacco e inoltre tutte avranno accesso adeguato alle risorse.

Cosa eviterebbe allora ai paesi di aumentare le loro tariffe? Sicuramente il timore di subire gravi conseguenze economiche e militari da parte dei paesi membri della nostra alleanza, che hanno un trattamento economico migliore rispetto al resto del mondo.

Un cambiamento di pensiero è necessario in un mondo che cambia. E' inutile creare una nuova Eden o Phoenix e aspettarsi che tutto funzioni meglio dei predecessori. Il mondo ha bisogno di una ideologia completamente diversa. La penna è più potente della spada; non sempre la forza bruta funziona e spesso non porta mai a risultati, o almeno non buoni risultati a lungo termine. La mentalità corretta è quella di creare qualcosa di radicalmente nuovo, mai esistito prima d'ora.

Cara Italia, siamo inesorabilmente a un bivio: possiamo continuare col solito metodo, come è sempre stato fatto ottenendo sempre i soliti risultati. Oppure possiamo aver coraggio e fare dei passi avanti, creando qualcosa di imponente e fantastico. Non è mai stato creato nulla di storico da chi si esprime con frasi del tipo "non lo possiamo fare." Tutte le grandi imprese sono state sempre realizzate da chi ha creduto, da chi ha detto "noi possiamo".

Sto lavorando da diverso tempo per portare questa mentalità in USA e ora la sto portando anche nel resto del mondo. Finché continueremo a parlare per migliorare la nostra situazione, alla fine i nostri leader ci seguiranno!

Good day to all of Italy! I am mjdiv and, although some of you already know me, others do not.

Let me present my project, my idea that will lead to incredible benefits for the entire eItalian community. First of all I wish to offer my personal friendship and alliance with this great project of a nation and promising development of èItalia. I will do everything to show my sincerity and goodwill to you. I live in the United States and have been adviser to many Presidents and I have always known how important it is to maintain good relations throughout the world and, for the last year, I have been working hard to change the culture of eUSA to a culture which is open and accepting of other nations because, in eRepublik, no one nation can truly be successful by itself!

In order for a nation to succeed, the nation needs to learn how to work with other countries around the world and help other countries succeed so that we all can succeed together. The same is true whether the nation is Hungary, Indonesia, USA and, yes, Italy too! I have encountered a lot of people who have argued against me in the past but, throughout my 15 months of being a citizen in eRepublik, I have always understood that there will never be one nation who will ever conquer the world and nations who try to do this will always fail. Only with the cooperation of many nations in a strong alliance can we all win together! Now, Italy CAN SUCCEED if it is affiliated with an alliance which will help it progress economically AS WELL AS militarily. I’m not asking Italy to join EDEN or Phoenix, but rather to think about an alliance structure which is different than what has been proposed so far. The question you need to ask yourself is: What will be best for Italy? Will it be to join an alliance dominated by Romania (EDEN) or one dominated by Hungary (Phoenix) or maybe there is something better? Maybe there is an alliance which will respect Italy for all it has to offer and will welcome your thoughts and not require you to speak another language? Maybe there is an alliance structure that will work to improve the economy of Italy as well as it’s military capacity so that Italy can be on the world stage as a nation of strength and unity? I present you a different idea about alliances that goes beyond the stalemate which exists between EDEN and Phoenix: The answer is TAMA (Tua Allianza Militare e d’Affari).

Many of the alliance ideas I have heard recently revolve solely around the idea of a military alliance to guard against attack from enemies. While that is a valid reason for having an alliance, I propose that more be done to strengthen such an alliance and hold its members together. If the only thing that keeps a nation in an alliance is the prospect of security from attack, then nations are just as likely to jump to whatever alliance of the day appears to offer the most military protection.

For everyone out there who thinks their country will "win" by conquering the world, I assure you that you will never see that day come about. Alliances can beat alliances, but no one country will ever beat the world. If we are anti-Phoenix or anti-EDEN, we would not simply be against one nation’s imperialism; we would be against all of the nations under the protection of EDEN or Phoenix. We will not win a war against such an alliance by pure military force. The way to change the dynamics of the situation is by a change in ideology. Whatever imperialistic alliance that is formed automatically becomes an enemy to the established alliances and strengthens their cause.

I hear some people saying "But we need to expand! We need those high-iron territories! We need diamonds! And what about making sure we have titanium?" You know what? You're right! But why does that have to involve conquering other countries? The iron, diamonds and eventually titanium will give strength to our military capabilities. A way to do this would be through trade.

I hear more of you saying "Trade...pff...that's boring! We need RAWR!" There will still be plenty of wars in the world to participate in, especially the liberation kinds.

In order to have a strong alliance, the alliance must respect the sovereignty of all of its member nations. It must also benefit every member of the alliance (big and small) and not be simply for the support of it's strongest nations. The alliance members must be able to think in terms of "we" and "our" and not just "me". To give strength to such a group it would also work toward the prosperity of each member involved.

Some may see what I propose to be idealistic, but everything starts out as an idea. Ideas that are fueled with passion and moved by action can make them reality. So, I will start with an idea. Those who have been continuing to add to these thoughts are helping to turn a good idea into a great one.

I propose the creation of an alliance that has all of these aspects:

1. Centered on raw materials. Of high importance (and these areas should have higher populations to build higher walls) would be territories with high resources for each raw material. These resources should be made available in free trade to all members of the alliance. The alliance is not only a military alliance, but also a trade alliance, to promote prosperity of all of the nations involved. Nations within the alliance will have 1-5% maximum import taxes on all high resources that the alliance has secured. Non-alliance nations may be embargoed, but not nations within the alliance. The nations within the alliance are free to adjust their income taxes and VATs (sales taxes) how each nation sees fit according to their respective congresses, but will not raise import taxes to protectionist levels.

2. Each nation must have an organized military that will be required to come to the defense of members of the alliance that are being attacked on their home soil. Members will not be required to assist in offensive operations, only defensive ones. However, the nations are allowed to coordinate in offensive operations if they wish to. Each nation is also free to have mutual protection pacts with nations that are outside of the alliance.

3. Members must respect the sovereignty of member nations unless agreement has been made between attacking and defending nations to do otherwise.

4. To protect the trade alliance from nations with unfair trade practices that do not allow foreign competition, those nations would be embargoed by all nations within the alliance if diplomatic efforts fail, unless they agree to allow Italian companies (along with the other allied nations) to sell to them by eradicating prohibitive trade barriers.

With the above type of alliance, each nation will benefit from military support of all nations involved in the event of attack and will also all share growth of prosperity, all having adequate, inexpensive access to high-resource-producing regions and being able to trade among member nations without barriers of high tariffs. But what would keep the countries from raising their tariffs? Well, the loss of trade and military partners in what will be the most economically beneficial alliance in the world!

A change of thinking is necessary in a changing world. It is said that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. We cannot create a second EDEN or Phoenix and expect it to work better than the first one. We need a completely different ideology. The pen is mightier than the sword because the written words and thoughts that are in the minds of soldiers and citizens are what hold them together in times of crisis. Brute force alone only works when you're ahead, but falls apart when you're not. But the proper mindset together with actions are what create phenomenal explosions into possibilities that beforehand may never have existed.

We are at an important fork in the road, Italy. We can continue with doing things as they've always been done and getting the results we've always gotten, but expecting something different. Or we can step out of the box and dare to create something fantastic. Nothing was ever accomplished by those who have said "we can't do that". All of the great things have been created by those who say "we can".

For the past year, I have been long at work trying to bring this mindset to eUSA and I am continuing to try to bring this mindset to like-minded people around the world. If the people continue to speak up to improve our situation, then our leaders will eventually listen!
