TRP Presidencial Campaign - Luis Carlos Prestes considerations
Luis Carlos Prestes
--- | English Version | ---
Greetings members of TRP, Our Thailand is going through a difficult time. Our president Rockman has personal problems and is not being able to administer the country. The V1 is coming, and the fear regarding changes is affecting our economy. Finally, the elections for presidency of our party lie ahead.
I'm here to make some considerations.
About Rockman, one thing is certain, the situation can not continue as is. If a President is unable to administer a country, the only thing to be done is choose a new representative, officially or not. Lets Talk about my actions in this sense below.
On the arrival of the V1, which for those who do not know will be a new version of erepublik, we have how to prevent the fear of producers. One of the changes planned is the system raw materials. If Thailand does not have the raw material for the sector of food, for example, these companies will have to import. So many companies are stored part of its production, even as a security measure for our country.
What the president could do to prevent that high inflation is simple: lower the taxes on consumption (the rate of VAT). Our companies are already strong and the competition in most sectors is great, then a correction in levels of VAT would only be good for our country.
Another important thing to do is already done, a broad reform in Companies of the Government. These are the actions that I mentioned above. Along with the new Minister of Employment, Rody2k9, I drafted a broad program of reforms to our companies:

The measures will take effect from tomorrow.
Well, last but not least, quite the contrary, let's talk about the elections for the presidency of TRP.
I'm very happy, because currently there are many members participating in our party, which write in newspapers, give their views on the most diverse issues, propose changes to the economy, to politics, are always participating in all areas public with our ideas, with the ideals of this party.
It is in this matter that I am launching my candidacy for the presidency of the party. And I am very happy that other members are doing the same. I Just ask that everyone submit their candidatures, like me and Ealb - http://www.erepublik.com/article-685640.html
let's show the world our ideas and our differences. I am sure that many Members of our party would be excellent presidents.
My main proposals for the presidency can be found on this topic:
http://www.erepublik.com/article-681762.html
Quickly resuming my 30 proposals, I strive for a free Thailand, really democratic, economically and socially strong. Read my proposals. I am there for some time, I have a long experience in this game, so I know what the right path to reaching our goals. But I can not do that, only with the your vote, but, most importantly, with your involvement in my future government. Alone we are nobody. Together we are everything.
I propose also due to recent events, that the future president of the Party chooses, after elected, his vice president. It is a major thing that we do not have yet done.
And the last, acess our new discussion forum:

We need the participation of all
These are my comments my friends.

Current President of TRP - Presidential Candidate for TRP Party Leader

Saudações membros do TRP,
http://www.erepublik.com/article-685407.html
http://www.erepublik.com/article-681762.html
Leia minhas propostas, vale a pena.

Atenciosamente,
Luis Carlos Prestes
Atual Presidente do TRP - Candidato à Reeleição
Comments
Gratz to Rody2k9, who translate the text 🙂
Your are welcome!
and people remember to vote for Luis Carlos Prestes as your next party leader of TRP, because experience counts over everything, and as the other candidate said something about Luis being not active is just some cheap mudslinging as we can clearly see that Luis is indeed active and we have one of the top newspapers in all of eThailand
So in 4 days make the right choice! VOTE LUIS CARLOS PRESTES!
Very good my brother, good job!
Rody, I said very clearly that I felt I was more communicative, not more active. These are not at all the same things. More communicative implies engaging in more dialogue, more exchanging of ideas.
Just to clarify.
Either way, Luis is more communicative Ealb, alongside the time that he already has been here, he is way more communicative than you, like I said his newspapers is in top 5 of Thailand, and he is exchaning of ideas, and instead of CHANGING OR TRYING TO CHANGE to economy like Luis is doing with the government companies and what changes have you done Ealb? Yeah...none
Thank You
^ Point in case.
Rody, I haven\'t sunk to mudslinging. I\'d really rather not. If it comes down to it, I have one or two juicy clods tucked away for a rainy day, but I\'d rather they crumble unflung.
That one\'s newspaper has more subscribers does not mean one communicates more. It means more have agreed a priori to listen if you dictate to them. I\'d be more interested in the quality and significance of discussion that one\'s articles provoke.
As to what I have done to change the economy, I have pushed forward an extremely critical examination of Rockman\'s policies in a clear, coherent fashion that had not been widely voiced. I brought economic problems to the attention of our eCitizens, I responded in a civil manner to TNT arguments and insults, and I sounded out those outside TRP who share a common vision with us. The underlying structure of the basic economic reforms we all agree are needed are those which I have been pushing since the mayoral elections. I don\'t think it\'s anywhere near fair to claim I have done \"nothing\" for the economy simply because I am not working as a Minister in the current government.
It is not mudslinging Ealb, it is simply the truth.
We brought(Luis, you, I, and the rest of TRP) the economic hardships to the attention of our people, Luis did respond in a civil maner, and Luis did bridge across the gap to those that share our ideas, such as ISCP, and S33vald\'s party
Thank You and Good Night people
I\'m not sure I can agree that emphatically reaching out to other parties has had a prominent place on Luis\' agenda. He definitely has strong accomplishments, and I do not seek to belittle them, but from my viewpoint it has not been him within TRP that has been driving the movement to unite like-minded parties and individuals regardless of affiliation.
Having said this, I concede that this point may be taken as somewhat subjective, so I will not press it. I do, however, ask that each of us consider the inter-party discussions of the last few weeks and make their own judgment, be it in accord with Rody\'s conclusion or mine.
People, we are all the same party, let\'s contest our ideas, not make fights, Rody and Ealb.
I read the recent articles of Ealb and already know Luis for a long time. I very much enjoyed you Ealb, but I would see Luis in the presidency, he has many proposals and I\'m sure that he will comply with them very well.
Actually, higher taxes can prevent inflation since taxes CAN act as a flat increase across the board for both wages and prices, and they slow down excessive demand meaning that low margin, low wage producers have to reduce production which allows market prices to stabilize.
Yet we want to increase inflation. More THB for your gold.
Just as a note to Rody: please cool it with the vitriolic mudslinging. It\'s unbecoming, it\'s nasty, it\'s tiresome, and it\'s making it hard for me to make a positive bid for the party presidency. And I think a positive campaign is in all of our best interests.
I\'m walking a very fine line whereby I\'m trying not to attack Luis as to not undermine him in the event that he wins. Luis is reciprocating. However, you are doing everything possible to undermine me, and have no concern whatever as to the effect it would have on TRP\'s electoral chances should Luis fail to win. I\'ve been biting my tongue, and not really fighting back. This hasn\'t been enjoyable, as I\'m left your near-to-passive punching bag. I\'ve let you throw slanders at me and only minimally repudiated them. Do you know why? Because in order to wholeheartedly retort, I\'ll need to directly undermine Luis. I don\'t want to do this; it\'s bad for party unity, and could tarnish his image in a general election.
Try to be more civil. Seriously. You\'re effectively leaving me the choice to eternally bite my tongue and effectively hamstring my ability to stand for party election, or defend my decision to run in plain and not necessarily welcome terms. I want to do neither; I\'d prefer to let the party members make their own decisions based on our press records and policy plans without being cajoled and bullied by a distinctly biased party.
