TRP and Tory Party announce merger

After lengthy negotiations, the Right Party and Tory Party yesterday announced their merger, in order to create a stronger right wing force. Public opinion is so far quiet on the event.

UPDATE😨 September 1st 2008

A statement made bu the now defunct Tory Party described the long negotiation process the two parties had gone through and the party president stated that "the negotiations have advanced far enough to justify going ahead with the merger". In other shocking news, the ex Tory Party president, James MacKennon announced his retirement from politics.

"I also want to say at this point that I am leaving the eUK. I leave with a heavy heart, but I feel that I need a vacation away from politics. I need to disengage and prepare for my studies to commence in real life. As such, I will still respond to messages, but will try to stay out the way as much as possible. I am retiring to the United States, as I want to visit some good friends there."

It is yet unclear whether anyone still left in the Tory Party will consider standing for the party president elections on September 10th and revive the party under a new banner.
