Troops return home and the end of war as we know it

Today is a happy and a sad day at the same time for me. It is happy because with the help of the US Marine Corps, Romania has dealt a serious blow to Hungary and its PEACE allies. It is a sad day though because the war has been put on admin hold until Version 1.0 of Erepublik is released… for those of you that don’t know, Version 1 (or V1 from now on) will bring about major changes to the war module. These changes can be read about in the Erepublik Insider newsletter, and promise interesting ideas…. And hopefully, less bugs all around.

But we are getting off track here… Due to the war being put on hold for an indeterminate amount of time, I am bringing the troops home. Home to their families, home to their regular jobs, and home to their political parties. The Marines will be welcomed back to US soil with gifts everyday until they are back at 100 wellness. There will be no need to contact me for gifts. I know who fought, and I will gift everyone who was in Romania on official military orders.

On a side note, if any Marines fought in Romania, and have not gotten funds for it yet, please PM me. But please, check your donation log first. I probably donated the funds to you already and you didn’t even know it.

We can discuss that personally. As of right now, only official Marine units are getting funding. Please contact me.

Funding was only to pay for weapons and moving tickets. Obviously, if you didn\'t use either of them, you wouldn\'t get the funds for them. Soldiers weren\'t paid just to fight.
