Tribute to Kita Ikki, ex-president, ex-MoD of eJapan

Day 1,434, 02:19 Published in South Korea USA by roland_up

This is a tribute article to Kita Ikki (wiki) who announced he is quitting the game.

He was the MoD(? my memory is a bit fuzzy on this) of eJapan when I first joined the game. I wasn't at all active at the beginning, and the first thing I can remember of him is that he wrote some very good articles.

As I became more active, I came to know him better. He is someone who is a real leader, always try to look at the big picture, and the amusing thing is that he doesn't lose his cool.

He is always there in all the major events in eJapan history to guide eJapan towards a just cause, from the war with the Theocracy over eSK, Battle of Kyushu and aftermath, turbulent power struggle with the FoH, liberation of Peace/Pheonix's Asian colonies, joining PANAM/Terra, and finally, the unconditional help eJapan gave eSK against the FSR PTOers.

While the new generation of people may or may not know your deeds, but I think many of the older players not only in eJapan, but also in eChina, eRoC and eSouth Korea will be sad to see you leaving the game.

I wish you all the best in RL, and I made you a new login screen, lol. Although it seems ridicules to have the soldiers of Iwo Jima raising a Japanese flag. But think of it as it symbolises the fine victory we had at the gate of Kyushu, where the ordinary people of eJapan who normally inactive, or fought each other were working with each other for the cause.
