I'm here again to offer a bit of mathematical analysis of the new deal that has popped up for enthusiastic weightlifters looking to get more bang for their buck. But is it worth the hassle and the large amount of gold?
Let's crunch the numbers.
Seeing as the discount is for 30 days, let's add up all the gold it would take to train for 30 days without the discount. first of all a quick tip is you can actually use your discount for 31 days. If I bought the contract at 2300 server time of January 1st, it won't expire until 2300 server time of the 31st. As long as you use the discount immediately you would have the extra 23 hours to use it on the 31st.
without the discount, It would cost 2.87 gold to train at every level. multiplied by 31 days it would cost 88.97 gold to train normally. Now let's look at how much each discount will save you.
Using the 50% discount (training discount) it would cost you now 44.485 gold to train for those 31 days. add the cost of the contract of 25 gold comes to a total of 69.485 gold, saving you 19.485 gold from the original cost.
Under the 90% discount (pro training contract) it would cost you 8.897 gold to train those 31 days. the contract costs 53 gold, bringing the total cost to 61.897 gold. That's a total savings of 27.073 gold.
In conclusion, if you planned on training for a month straight, this appears to be a nice deal, with the 90% discount being better in the long run. also remember that these numbers are only correct if you used the training option every day. If you miss any days you may get less out of the training contracts. Also my math only used the level 1 Training facilities; those of you who have upgraded the buildings and receive better strength bonuses may get more out of the sale than those who have the standard ones. Using level one building bonuses, you would gain 542.5 strength, and that's using the weakest buildings!

I still think it's better for someone with Q1 across the board to upgrade their free gym before thinking about training contracts; and I now recognize that for Q4 across the board, contracts are good. You should include the gold bonus from gettting SS medals inthe equation, becasue technically that lowers the total cost. See I factor that in when deciding which one to buy. I bought the 50% because I want gold in my account and I dont get it back via SS medals fast enough to warrent the up front cost of the 90%
@Vijalob, newer players that were not here for it last time still need the info.
The other thing they don't advertise is the trend for the price of gold to be less at the end of the 30 days, so you lose a bit of value by paying gold up front
