Now I dont want to claim that a trade embargo wont hurt some irish producers too be honest I still have 517 factories left.48 of which is worker operated only.
Lets quickly pop over to the USA just for the sake of research
From working in 140 factories the USA gained 140 x 13.7 = 1938 cc
If we deduct that 48 house factories well you would lose a potential 6425 a day in a month 199184 cc. Problem for you though is I hardly ever work in my USA factories anymore. (dont have blitzkrieg and therefore not enough energy) have better options closer to home)
Travelling there cost me 632 per trip. So 1264 cc both ways.
The only way this could still threaten Irish producers is
1. if people just dumped all their factories in one USA region. Honestly I dont think anyone still does it.
2 Producers have not started to adjust for travel expenses (i did the move to Ireland months before this new update) as I was partly sponsored to buy some factories in Ireland which I did. I then moved a lot of factories there as our bonuses were excellent and it meant I could just work from my residence and a short hop most of the time.
3 with the travel update I think I moved around another 150 factories out of the USA to Ireland.
4. Ireland was dependent on production for income. this was the most idiotic premise tyler bubblehead. fact is everyone knows tanks make 10 to 100 times more than factory producers.
5. a country still needed game cash. with mpp basically a thing of the past. with initiatives mostly privately funded . how exactly does a trade embargo hurt a countries income?
6. everyone knows the citizen country only gets 20% of the pot in the example Ireland would get 500 cc. hardly their main source of income.
7. A trade embargo hurts the country imposing the embargo not the other way aroun😛
Yes ireland is not getting the 500 they would if i worked in that holding company but your not getting the 2000 (now are you)

the eUS doesn't operate on reason or facts just butthurt feelings
difficult for a factory owner to operate under such circumstances. have restructured and moved all of my factories out of the usa. expect a lot to take this step now. was anyway doubtful with the travel costs. most of the time i merely scrape by anyway.
eUS leadership response to any decision = fewer players means easier control
pre-V2 the eUS destroyed it's own economy to drive out players who only played the businessman in this game. The eUS' meta-game thrived upon the notion Erepublik was going to fail soon, years later it is now looked to as the eUS community's savior. Delicious isn't?
While I suspect the action is meant to be symbolic more than anything, I fully agree it's mechanically unsound policy and besides that pretty silly.
after reading the article and reading that "coming from a home with no small amount of violence, rape, murder, and suicide " and doing this . the guy is just a mega loser in life. no need to waste too much time on articles. it's with warfare we will resolve these traitorous actions to a long time friend. Asteria wont help him.
